About
Lost Key Golf Club is conveniently situated equidistant from the historic downtown area of Pensacola and the pristine white sand beaches of Orange Beach and the Gulf Shores. The Arnold Palmer-designed layout was Florida's first golf course to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. It underwent a major renovation in 2006 that included the addition of 2,200 native trees, 13,000 wetland plantings, and the resurfacing of the tees, greens, fairways, and rough. The golf course now presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned golfers. The greens are large and undulating and the flat fairways are lined with trees. There are also doglegs fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. Lost Key Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole, which requires a tee shot over water to a partial island green that rolls across dramatic elevation changes.

Lost Balls
The greens were in excellent condition, fairways and around the greens the grass grass was very thin. Probably a nice course in the summer time. Arnie put together a very difficult layout...the fairways are narrow and there are hazards on both side of the fairways...lost several balls Many of my shots were just off the fairway, but still went into a hazard. This was my first time playing for the new year...really not a good place to start off the the season at such a demanding course. Better bring your "A" game!!
Very nice course
Rained a lot before we played but course drains well so was in great shape. Very helpful and friendly staff. Course was very well maintained. Greens were excellent.

Wind Everywhere
Greens were perfect but with winds gusting to 25 mph and temperature in the low 40's, conditions were difficult at best. Still a great course and great fun.

Tight course
Excellent greens but layout is very tight. Excellent shots are rewarded. Marginal shots are punished if you can find them. Lots of water.

Excellent golf course. Played 3 times in past 10 days. Greens are very good. Well maintained course. It's a very good idea to hit the ball straight on this one! Fun course. I play every year in December when we come to the beach.

Great layout but tough
Sometimes called Lost Ball, this course is interesting but can play tough with hazards everywhere. The greens are in great shape for winter. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Fastest greens I've played this year
Pro style greens, fast &Rolling, you need to be accurate to hit fairways, club selection is very important
