About
Marcus Pointe Golf Club tumbles across 600 acres of rolling woodlands, which is a rare occurrence in the mostly flat Panhandle area. The back nine is where golfers really begin to notice the dramatic undulations. Earl Stone, who has designed several Gulf Coast golf courses, created the layout. He has built his reputation on building playable and affordable courses. While water may not come into play often, golfers will still be kept on their toes by the numerous sand bunkers and an abundance of trees and of course, the tricky angles and elevation changes throughout. The golf course is challenging but fair with a playability that appeals to golfers of all skill levels. The greens are well manicured and keep all abilities in mind. Four sets of tees make Marcus Pointe Golf Club even more accessible.

Coming back!
I had a blast at Marcus Pointe. The staff was so nice and the amenities were amazing. The course was a great challenge! I loved the trees and the sloping greens. I walked off 18 feeling like I had put up a great fight! I can't wait for my rematch with this course soon!!!

This owner and current staff have taken this course from a -1 to an absolute solid 7 from February of 2023 and continuing to improve. It does not go unnoticed great job 👍.
Nice Layout
Course was in pretty good shape and pretty good layout overall. I prefer a flatter course than this one so there was a lot of uneven lies since it’s a little bit hilly.
Most improved
Impressed with the amazing improvements made over the past year. Greens were smooth and true. Looking forward to my next round there.
Great course and staff
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The course is in very good shape with no real terrible spots. I had a great time playing here.
Nice course!
It was cart path only, the gps on the carts kept locking our cart regardless of where we drove. Sometimes we had to drive in reverse 50 yds or so to unlock the cart, very annoying!
New owners
The course superintendent has really turned the course around and I mean 180 what a difference from a year ago.
Quality course
Course is in very good shape for this time of year. Greens especially nice. Challenging but too much
Nice round
Paired with three nice guys .
Fairways growing in with pretty good grass.
Ball sits up well . Sand traps pretty consistent.
Greens need work. Very bumpy with weeds.
Ball speed inconsistent. Overall nice course outlay.
Will come back again hoping greens will be better

The only issue we had was it was too busy and the pace was a bit slow for us.
