Good course
I am new to golf (6 months) and playing a new course is always fun for me to continue my education and being challenged. Enjoyed this course a great deal as it is mostly flat and pretty hard to lose balls. Fairways are pretty close to each other, so work on your slice somewhere else. They have a great practice facility for that. Good restaurant area for the 19th hole. I personally struggled the first nine but scored my lowest nine holes on the back. Will certainly play again.
Fun course
This course is always in good shape. The staff was very professional.
Close to Perdido Beach
Nice course, very quiet hid away in a quiet neighborhood
Great value and good conditions
I always enjoy playing Osceola. I know the course will always be in good condition and that the greens will be fair. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. One of my favorite courses in Pensacola.
Fun course
The course is greatly improved since the flood a few years ago. Fairways are wide and easy to hit ever if you are a high scorer but greens require a bit more accuracy.
Enjoyed ever bit of it.
Great value and good conditions
This course is in great shape for a municipal course and the greens run very true. I was also glad to see all of the kids playing the game and learning about golf on the driving range. Make sure to support this course because it supports golf's future.
Just public course is a great asset to the Pensacola area it is very reasonable in price and I will play at many more times
No Flow
I felt not at ease, the flow of the course felt zig zaggy. Who ever redesigned the course really mssed it up.
Nice Municipal Course
Course is in decent condition for the time of year. The greens are in excellent shape. We did not experience any problems with pace of play; finished our 18 hole round in just over 3 hours (weekday midday). The practise facility is very good, offering separate places for driving, putting, chipping, and sand play. The staff were very friendly and eager to help, and the clubhouse restaurant is worth the trip.
Nice Municipal Course
A friend & I played yesterday. It was my first time playing this year. Well they had a discounted rate right after noon so we took one of those slots.
It is a nice county course with pretty fast greens. The ball seemed to roll forever.
We didn't try the bar or snack bar but the electric cart was in good shape and got us around. The person in the pro shop that checked us in was very friendly.
I'd go back for a good value round.
Slow play ruins golf.......
Course is in good winter condition. Weather was great. Day spoiled by slow play and numerous singles wanting to play through. No Marshals.....
Nature Meets Wanna Be
This was a great combo of beginner golf and an outdoor adventure. The pace was what I loved most......I observed 12 turtles and numerous fish. We have traveled throughout South Florida and Central Florida and this was my favorite course. It has encouraged me to continue on this golf "path"...... which I was about to say "addios" to. Thanks to all of the friendly staff and also the beautiful restaurant.
poor conditon and dangerous layout - wear your helmet
This course has been given a 3 1/2 to 4 star rating out of 5 and I don't understand why. The fairways were like concrete and scattered with twigs and leaves that were not the product of this windy day.. A few holes had the player coming back towards the previous tee block to get to the next tee which left you at the mercy of the players following you. I will say the greens were good. I do not know about the back nine because we left after the 8th hole due to the very slow play and the unenjoyable experience.
Basic golf
If your looking for a cheap place to swing a club this is for you. The course is not in very good condition and they charged me $10.00 additional just for my 10 year old son to ride in the cart with me.
