Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club
About
Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of native wetlands, an abundance of hardwood trees, and a generous smattering of meandering creeks and sparkling lakes. The beautiful terrain sets it apart from other golf courses in the Atlanta area. The course is known for the numerous grass-walled bunkers filled with pristine white sand that are strategically placed throughout. The player-friendly greens are wide and approachable, but there is the occasional multi-tier to watch out for. The generous nature of the greens also allows for a variety of pin placements. The natural features of the landscape at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club not only provide beautiful scenery but they also make for a more interesting game since they require you to get creative with your shot-making, especially when trying to figure out how to handle some of the tricky carries.

Golfer Reviews
Course is in great shape!
Great shape. Greens are nice. Fairways best I've seen them in awhile. Play this course as quick as you can. You will be pleasantly surprised at this gem.
Greens and Fairways were great.. Randy was RUDE!
Randy was extremely rude after we requested a rain check due to heavy rains and thunder and lighting. He stated we had a 3:30 start and should have be done by 6:30. We didn't get started until 4:00. No Marshall was present. This was Saturday golf, the players in front of us was a little slow and I think the weather played a big part in slowing everything down. Usually the staff is great. Randy needs some customer service skills.
This course has great potential !
The course plays long .The greens need attention but the fairways and the rough well maintained. My round lasted 5 ours and we saw the beverage cart twice and the second time was near the end ! Three water coolers on the course was not enough on this 95 degree day ! Service inside the clubhouse was excellent !! I'll come back but I'll be more prepared !
Player experience could be better!
C'mon folks! You have to wait 13 holes to get any water, then there's no more water for the rest of the round.
- We played one of the first rounds in the morning, and there were unrepaired divots ALL OVER the greens.
- Love the course layouts, love the views.
- You should take better care of your customers as they play your course.
Great course
Course played well beautiful fairways and greens definitely will be back. I got an eagle on hole 9 from 100 yards out best shot I've ever had and my dad and 2of my friends were there to see it
slow play
The course was perfect, but the pace of play was horrible. We were behind a group that would not let us play thru no group in front of them,at 4:45 hrs and still had 4 holes to play so we just left we were so aggravated, had to wait at least 10 min a shot, marshall came by after the first hole, never saw again.giving a low rating just for pace of play, not course conditions.
Crystal Lakes
We were only able to play 6 holes because of rain. The course is well maintained and challenging.
Nice Layout, but get your drinks before you start!
Had a nice time, course in nice shape overall and has a fun layout. A few blind tee shots and the lack of drink/food makes it hard for first time players
Much improved
I played this course in the early spring time of this year and it wasn't much better than when I played it previously, which was last summer. The course then, was obviously being neglected. However, I was pleasantly surprised today. The fairways were like hitting from the mats and the greens were rolling great. The only negative I found today was the patrons that weren't repairing their divots on the greens. I played on a "deal caddy" special of $25 so, this was a great value at that price.
Awesome course
This is a GA course favorite of mine. It is a great conditioned course with a nice layout that's a blast to play! Also a solid test of the ol' game.
Awesome greens
Great course and staff. Great location and price. Will be back
Challenging Course, Beautifully Maintained
Crystal Lake is a beautiful, challenging course. My limited interaction with the staff was friendly and efficient. The only negative is that the course is very spread out and is not "walker friendly".
Visually Pleasing
One of the better courses on the south side of Atlanta.
Nice Greens
Nice course but you have to play all 18 before you reach the clubhouse.
Overall not a good course
First off my tee time was at 1. It rained very moderately the night before but by the time I arrived at the course it was very dry but for some dumb reason it was cart path only. That made for a terribly uncalled for slow round. The score card read 6500 yards from the blues but was easily 7100+ yards. There were hardly any yardage markers in the fairway and hardly any navigation signs which made getting lost very easy. The unraked bunkers with no sand were terrible. $103 for 2 people is way over priced for this course. I play eagles brook very regularly and I would highly recommend that course, its very nice and maintained very well, and its great for the price.
Outstanding course and value. A gem!
Well maintained, nice layout, etc. can't beat the value for a course like this.
Very Nice Track!!!
Last time I played Cry Lake it was about a year and a half ago and it was a nice course then, but is REALLY a nice course now. Don't get to the South-side that often to play golf, but playing here last sat. will definitely keep me coming back for more.......If you have not played this course before, you really need to see what all the hype is over. 78 bunkers or more will definitely keep you on your toes with a few blind shots.
Best course in Atlanta for the price
Green & fairway is great this is the Best course in Atlanta for the price
There is a water cooler on the 3rd hole by the green if you keep following the cart path and that same cooler on your way back from the 7th.
