Pines at Pompano Beach Golf Course

Fairways were, at best, in average condition. Most greens had weed control issues.

A very enjoyable golf course with wide fairways and ample greens. Much like a resort course. Difficulty can be added by using back tees. Nothing espectacular from an architectural point of view ... just pure golf with no gadgets.

I have played twice in the last month and had no problems with slow play. It is in very good condition, not pristine, but it is an exceptional value for your money.

Moved ahead at the 4th hole and again on the 9th.

Not worth the money or the travel time 40 min

Pines Course: poor greens and generally unkempt.. Could be much better. Pompano touts this course as premium, it is not with these poor conditions.

After hurricane Irma the course was very practical, and congratulations at all the guys who works for golfers

This course has become one of our preferred courses this summer. Challenging but forgiving layout. Price is right and it's not too far out of the way to get to. Greens are still recovering from maintenance, but still very puttable. It's one of the nicer municipal courses in south Florida.

Recommend this course. Good layout and challenging. This is a fun course for a county ran course.

Had a great time and enjoyed very much! Greens were a bit slow and inconsistent but the course overall was in good shape.

Pompano Beach Municipal the Pines Course is a very nice golf experience. Tee boxes were good...some rough spots in the fairways and the greens were very good. I have played this course a number of times and have never been disappointed.

Just the green on the first hole wasn't in good condition. All of the other holes were very nice.I would definitively recommend the Pines

When we arrived they tried to charge 70.00, good thing I had copy of my email from Golf Now that it was paid on line. Staff friendliness was related to check in, rest of staff average. Course unless you get a rate of 30.00 per person is over priced.

one green(7th)was bad so I won't it give a 5 star. As for value, I paid 55$US for 2 rounds on GolfNow instead of 65$/round.

Played Pines course for second time in two years. Palms backed up and too expensive at $65 for conditions. Very little staff interaction, you pay through a bulletproof window to a town employee. Went out as a twosome with 2.5 holes from a twosome in front of us . Caught up to them after 4 holes due to slow foursome in front of them. Extremly slow play with no ranger to help.

Tee boxes were bumpy and bare. Finding right tee markers not easy at first as paint on markers was faded or missing. We had the same problem last year.

Fairway "grass" cut too short and looked like crab grass over bare spots. Greens very lumpy with seeded bare spots everywhere. Reading greens were next to impossible.

Quit after 12 holes and 3.5 hours of very slow play. Continuing would have meant a 6 hour round.

On the good side however; the sand traps were soft sand and well groomed. Many new palms planted and signs of renovations on the course (mounds edging some fairways) is a good sign. Maybe the course needs a bit of watering and better maintenance but they won't see me again.

I found the corse layout to be great. But the greens condition was horrible. Only one of the greens possibly the 17th or the 18th was not infected and patchy. All the rest were patched with grass missing other from poor matenence or a desise. My wife and I played poorly while putting. This corse was not worth the $45 each to play. When I asked one of your people the condition of this corse they told me I should have played the more expensive corse. I will not come back to play this corse again.

Nice course especially for the price, friendly place from the people nice outdoor bar and restaurant

Played the Palms course. One of the worse courses I have ever played. It was so bad, we didn't even finish the round. What a waste of money!!
