Great executive course, play from the blues, tee boxes almost untouched!

Looks as if they're concentrating on the fairways which were beautiful as the greens are always nice. Very nice small course.

Great little cousin se to practice on and play with friends

Tee Time was 1:30. Got off at 1:50. At 4th tee there were 6 carts ahead of us. At 6th tee there were 8. Finished the front 9 at 4:40. As I had a 5. PM appointment, we could not play the back 9. It should not take 2 hours and 50 minutes to finish 9 holes on an Exec course. Spoke with the GM this morning to request a raincheck for the back 9.

Was informed that there were some "issues" on the date of play back that there was nothing he could do in the way of compensation. I'm more upset about the GM's attitude and failure to address my concern than about the extremely poor pace of play. I'll never play here again.

The pace of play was the worst it has ever been for me on any course

A challenging narrow course nestled in a housing community. Great for working on your short game. There is a fair amount of water hazards to navigate.

Waited EVERY SINGLE HOLE at least 10 mins up to 30mins. Course is in v good condition.

My wife and I were put with another couple for our round. We enjoyed the friendly conversation and relaxed play. The course is a par 60 with mostly par 3s and a few par 4s. While most tee shots were short, water was in play on many holes. Greens were medium speed but undulatiions and steepness on some greens offered challenges. Tee boxes and fairways were in good shape.

We've often enjoyed this course and this year the conditions were great. Unfortunately, there was a three- some ahead of us with one golfer obviously intoxicated.

There was a four-some in front of the three-some, but we saw no evidence of the four-some holding the three-some up. As a result we decided to quit playing after the first nine although we paid for 18 holes.

This took place on a Sunday afternoon and the course did not have a starter nor any evidence of someone checking on golfer progress around the course.

just to say, kings gate is one of my favorite courses to golf. yesterday, i got a little upset with 3 groups of two some behind us. we had 4 people in our group. we did play slower than the groups of 2. we did let one group go ahead but if we continued to let 2 persons groups go ahead, we would never have finished. the ranger came by and asked us to speed up or let the groups go by us. this made us start to hurry (run) between shots. i suggest that groups of 2 should be paired up with other groups of 2 on any day you have back to back tee times.

on the front 9 we had a group of 3 ahead of us so we had to wait a few times. so it wasn't all our fault that we played slow.

We have played many executive courses in the area. we like playing them because the cost is cheaper than regular course, wife is just starting to golf and pace of play is better. This is by far the best executive course in the area. We grouped with another couple and had a wonderful day of golf. The pace of play was good. There are some holes that would back up. These were the harder par 3 holes. But pace picked back up over the next holes. Couse was in great shape. Fairways are manicured and the greens were true. Yes there was some bare spots on the fairways and some of the greens were being treated. But overall this course was in great shape if you compare others in the area and the cost is much less. We will be playing here again.

Course is in great condition. Greens were a ;little slow. Fairways thick. All in all, very good condition
