Golf at kingsgate on 11/30/22
Pace of golf was ok.
But the golf on 11/25 was very slow. For golf carts I had wait for more than an hour. I was able to play only 9 holes.
Public Beware - Short are Riding Carts
This is a great short track in excellent condition BUT, waiting almost an hour for a riding cart because of a shortage of available carts and NOT being told in advance is NOT GOOD. Given the short days now and only completing 13 holes when paying for 18 and driving 25 miles is unacceptable.

course was wide open due to weather threat that did not happen ....great round, fairways were a little wet but greens were dry and fast
Great Value
We live in Naples and greens fees there are already at a minimum of $80 for a round on a championship course. It was worth the drive to Port Charlotte to enjoy a beautiful day at King's Gate. There's nothing fancy about this club or the experience but it was better than expected considering the fact that they are still recovering from Hurricane Ian in that area. My wife and I were paired up with another couple and had a great time. If you're not trying to impress your friends or score a prestigious branded golf shirt then give Kings Gate a try.
Enjoyable course
My husband and I played 18 holes. Enjoyed the course. Great practice for your short game. Course was immaculate. Definitely would recommend.
Nice course
They did a remarkable job of cleaning up the golf course after the hurricane. The course was in good shape.

Good for short game practice
Not a difficult course but still a test of golf. Course needs work talc on tee boxes for sure. Even though you put a tee in the ground doesn’t mean you need to have a weed infested tee box! Other than that fun place to play!
Nice course
This course is very nice, it is in excellent condition, however a couple of the holes were a little bit funky from the back tees for a course that winds through a housing development.
fun course
My wife and I play best ball because neither of us is a good golfer, but we enjoy the game. Kings Gate challenges us without being unfair. Lots of water (we bring plenty of "pond balls" bought at thrift stores) and some tees and pin placements are very difficult for duffers like us.
