Good local value
Need some water stations. Only water is at the start clubhouse. So you can't get water till you play 9 holes
fast play course
I have played this course many times over the last year. I have seen strides to improve the course conditions. It takes time. The fairways have improved a lot do to the attention and all the rains we are having.. They have killed the weeds and continue to sand the greens and aerate them in an effort to get them back in shape. They are very slow and don't run true do to the weed kills and blotchy spots. That being said they are trying to improve them and it is working. Very few players on the course so play at your own speed.

Greens
The greens are not good and they are very slow; but staff is very friendly and helpful. I think that it’s a great value.

Whatever level of player you are, this is simply a fun course to play. My wife just started playing and loves the wide, forgiving fairways, while I enjoy the challenge of smaller greens, protected by sand traps, that test your mid-iron accuracy. Pace of play is very good, the staff is friendly and the grounds are well-maintained. A word of caution: be sure to stay hydrated and fill up your water bottle before heading out as there is only 1 water station on the back 9. The clubhouse is ok; there is a small selection of drinks and hot dogs. I feel it's more dedicated to the learning center, which is amazing if you need lessons.
They are attached to Club Med, but green fees will not allow you to enjoy this all-inclusive club. However, until 10/31, they are offering an awesome deal that includes 9 holes of golf after 3pm, along with full access to Club Med, which includes an open bar, use of the pool and other facilities, as well as dinner and continued partying until 1AM....all for $55 a person. Did I mention the open bar?

Improved significantly
I have been playing this course regularly for the past several months. To see how much the fairways and greens have improved is impressive. This is a great beginner course as it is very forgiving. Also love the amount of wildlife I see regularly. Hope the improvements continue

Fun
Easy course. Played 18 in two and a half hours. Staff was awesome. Course was in decent shape, but the greens were slow and some needed some water. Overall I would play this again at this price.

Good value
When you can use GolfNow to get a $1 a hole price ($18 with fees), the course is a good value. The course is easy (not a lot of hazards), the greens are (usually) in good shape, and in general, is fun to play. Never seem pushed from behind or waiting for others in front (aka - good pace). Recommend.

Great beginner course
I have played this course many times and actually really enjoy it. The course is very forgiving and is great for new golfers. The fairways and greens have improved dramatically and the course is in great shape. I enjoy playing here
