Happy Trails!
We had a great day at Saint Lucie Trail golf course. It’s a tight track, and as wet as it has been the past 5 months, it was in surprisingly good shape.
I’ll be back, very well done. Thank you to the staff for keeping things safe at the Trail!
Tight course but enjoyable to play
Fun to play this course, the greens are always well maintained , great staff, like the restaurant cheese burger and wings really good. Made my first and only in one #17.
Worst golf experience I ever had.
This was sadly the worst experience I have ever had. The pace of play was terrible. I left after only finishing 3 holes in 1 hr 15 min. They allowed a group sharing clubs and another the were driving around with a 5th of vodka in the drink holder. It took them 25 minutes to play a hole. It is not ok to pay the price they charge to end up with a 6 hour round. Won’t be going back.
not very good
CPO and you do not know this before you book. makes for a long day. say 4hrs and 45 minutes
The only reason I gave the condition of the golf course a low rating is because tropical storm Eta had just departed & the course was soggy in places. But considering what had just occurred it was amazing.
Hit 1 shot then course closed - fighting for my refund!!!
I cannot get anyone to help me with this situation and will avoid using this site from now on. I took a hot deal and we hit our tee shots on the first hole right before a downpour closed the course. The pro shop staff would not issue my rain checks and said “You booked on Golf Now and I am not affiliated with them.” He gave me the phone number to call 1-844-800-4653. I’ve called this number 6 times and cannot get anyone on the phone. The message directs you back to the website and tells you how easy it is to cancel a tee time and get a refund. Well that option is not available to me because I would have had to cancel the tee time only if the course was closed. Once you pass your tee time, that option goes away. I am hoping someone from Golf Now (or the course) contacts me to fix this situation. The Contact Us link on the GN website, does not give you an e-mail address and the Live Chat feature is completely automated and cuts you off once you receive their standard responses. I’ve used Golf Now before and liked it but this is completely unacceptable.
Despite the recent rains and cartpath only the course played difficult but the course was mostly playable .
Too wet
Slow pace. On front. Was one of 3 groups on 10th tee box. Unacceptable. No ranger.
A difficult test.
This course is very difficult but it’s fabulous in every aspect. What a great layout. There isn’t an ‘easy‘ hole standing on the tee but if you hit the fairway followed by a good iron shot and two putts for par you can label it an easy hole. If you can get a birdie putt 12 times on this course you are a player.
Course should not have been open.
After three nights of rain this course should not have been open. Was cart path only and on some holes you were walking to your ball in water and mud almost over your shoes. Everyone at the 19th hole after our round was complaining about course conditions. I will not book this course again thur golf now because I was unable to cancel.
Friday Golf
Excellent staff/course,, well maintained , great layout,, thank you Saint Lucie Trails,,
Condition
Greens bumpy and slow. Been lots of rain but does not drain well.
Punched greens
I had work scheduled over on the east coast and decided to go over a day early to play a new to me, highly rated course. I picked this course because of its high ratings and was extremely disappointed when I reached the first green only to find out they had been punched and were slow, bumpy, and covered in sand. I KNOW a course has to do this a couple of times a year. But why doesn't Tee-Off and Golf Now no longer give that warning? I would have chosen a different place to play. The tee boxes were nice, the fairways were nice, it was just such a let down to play those greens. They will be beautiful this winter but that does not help me. Just a reminder to check with the course yourself this time of year because the booking agent is not going to help you choose your new favorite course.
