Pelican/Osprey at Burnt Store Marina Country Club

All but two greens out of 18 were a mess. Bumpy, fungus, bare spots. Tee boxes were desert dry with little grass. Maybe caught the course at a bad time condition wise. Worse than the conditions, the pace of play was terribly slow. Golfers going back for carts left well before the green. Entire foursomes waiting with every player while shots were taken and retaken. 3 1/2 hours for 12 holes

I don’t know what’s happened here, but on Pelican and Heron I saw 1, maybe 2 acceptable greens. The rest looked bad and played worse. Where there weren’t bare dead sections, the greens looked like it was composed of bumpy clumps of grass. They must have contracted a disease over the summer. I suggest you spend a bit more and play somewhere else till they get the course replanted.

The cold weather sure does keep the crowds down. Our group cruised through 18 holes in less than 3 hours. Service was impeccable as always and we are looking forward to next rounds at Burnt Store Marina.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Price for 18 was reasonable.The course is mainly par 3s but still fun.

The course needs attention. They have 3 x 9 holes but who wants to play 13 par 3 holes? Had I done my homework I would not have booked it.

I’ve played this course many times and it was always in good shape. I haven’t played at Burnt Store Marina since September and couldn’t believe how bad the greens and tee boxes were on 1/25/2026. I know that we haven’t had much rain this year but the greens look like they have a disease.

We enjoyed our first Loop here. The staff were very friendly, and helpful. We look forward to playing here again.

The fairways has many dry to no grass area and the green are awfull

After hearing positive reviews from locals a few years ago, we gave it a try. Wow! Total dirt on tee boxes. 1/2 the greens were dirt, the fairways were also dry and void of nice turf. I would not recommend playing here. The only positive was the staff. Troon needs to step it up.

BSM offers a fantastic round of golf for every one out to enjoy this crazy game! The staff is fantastic and accommodating! We are looking forward to our next round. Hopefully it will get a little warmer, but if it doesn’t Lori and Amy will save you with refreshments from the drink cart! Happy New Year!

Back for another season at Burnt Store Marina! The course is in good shape despite the current drought. The entire staff are professional and attentive! Bring some extra balls for Hole #1 on Osprey! Enjoy your round!
