Twin Isles Country Club

This was the 2nd time playing Twin Isles and after playing a couple of other local golf courses I found that this course was overall better than the others with a full 18 holes with only a couple par 3's on both nines and a couple par 5's on both nines versus a lot of par 3. The greens were in great shape and the fairways are excellent with real grass.

Twin Isles is a nice enough track with a variety of challenging holes, and 7 different tee sets. The only issue I had was the price. At $125 a round, there are far better courses.

The course is in fantastic condition. Fairways have a good height allowing you to get under the ball. Greens are fast and in great condition. Pro shop greeting is welcoming and easy. Starter is friendly and informative. Overall great course.

We always love playing Twin Isles. Since the Pope group took the reins the course conditions have never been better, friendly courteous staff.

Yesterday 5 hour round from our scheduled tee time, not acceptable . Imo you’re doing too good a job everywhere else to not rectify this.

It’s always a road block at #4 but nothing like this yesterday ever.

So if you’re going to accommodate regular groups by over booking maybe offer your other customers an honest explanation or perhaps a beverage while we wait, and wait.

Great course layout, greens are great, fairway is not Bermuda grass, more similar to bluegrass from up north.

I love this course. It’s in very good shape. Haven’t played since 2018 and it’s still top. I do recommend it strongly.

Great fairways with bluegrass as opposed to Bermuda. Excellent greens with good speed. 0ace of play was reasonable. Great layout.

We signed in at Pro Shop and staff member at counter told us to get in line behind the 2 carts in front of us and tee off. Then all heck broke loose as another player came up and said to us we are not up. The pro or staff member came out and finallly organized us and said the starter left and said everything g was in order.

Not indicative of a well run course and country club and not a way to start your round.

Then from first hole on there was always two groups on every tee box and it took us 2:40 minutes to play when it normally takes 1:40 minutes to play this course. For 9 holes. Main reason I believe is because tee times were every 7 minutes and players grouped too close together and no place to go.

Had a vary pleasant round of golf.

Course layout and condition were quite good and pace of play was good.

Seemed to be a popular course for retired guys but has the length for lower handicap players too.

Overall, its very good value.

Always a good value if you play 2pm and later. Course conditions are always decent, greens always good.
