Summerfield Crossings Golf Club

I knew going in that some work was going on but nothing got in the way. Greens were fantastic and if you hit it where you should be you’ll be fine. Already booked to play same time next Saturday

We had a good pace of play and enjoyed the round save for the very rude golfer behind us who chose to hit his drive while were in the fairway on hole number 10. Rather than apologizing when he got to number 11 he took his position in the tee box after we had driven our balls and we decided to just go ahead and wave him through. We waved him through and he promptly drove his first ball into the left rough and his second ball into the water on the left...He never apologized for hitting the ball while we were in the fairway on number 10, nor did he thank you for letting him through and so the Golf Gods had him hit his second shot on 11 from the left rough directly into the water.

Played yesterday with 1:15 tee time and was able to get out early. Pace off play was absolutely fantastic. We let one single go through and the 2nd single asked to play with us. Met a new friend and added him to our list of others we golf with. Course was in great condition....greens were as usual fast and deceiving.....Staff was very friendly!!!!!

The course is going under major renovation. New sprinkler heads new tee boxes ans air ratted greens. At the present time there is construction going on a few holes.

Overall a decent course, friendly people and the carts were washed and fueled up. Some of the tee boxes were beat up, but I am sure with the price of the round it gets alot of traffic. Nice course and great price.

Love what they are doing to the course. Zoysia tee boxes were installed earlier this summer and they are in great shape. Greens were lunches a few weeks ago a and they are rolling good.

Summerfield golf course is an excellent condition, friendly staff & pace of play was good.

I enjoyed my day at the course. The course has some maintenance going on right now. Greens are almost healed from aeration, but were still a good quick speed. One hole on the back 9 was closed because maintenance was installing new sprinklers. Overall, I was happy with the course conditions and will be adding this course back into my rotation of preferred places to play.

I play this course regularly. Conditions are usually very good. The greens standout as some of the best rolling in the area...but they have punched and sanded them. So just be aware when you book. Should be good in a few weeks with some rain.

Course has come along way over the last couple months . New tee boxes , fairways are decent and other than there aerating the greens so there is holes and sand on a several of them there in good shape. Other than the threesome of kids in front of me that played three balls each off the tee and ten shots later they finished a par three the pace was good but I’m sure we have all had that group to deal with at some point before . No marshal at this course .

Sunday afternoon round in 3 hours- unheard of. And I could hardly believe it when I checked the time coming off 18 green. The course isn’t terrible. The tee boxes are all brand new turf. The greens historically are rock hard and the new owners are taking action to rectify that. Clearly the greens have been getting water and where punched. There was a good bit of sand on them today. Was it worth $40 on a Weekend- I’d say so but understand the greens are “in process”

Summerfield golf course is in excellent condition & friendly staff.

Greens very good. Tees excellent. Most fairways very good. Some thinly grassed with a lot of crabgrass and some bare spots. Overall excellent place to play.
