About
Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is a fun Scottish links style championship golf course designed by Ronald Garl. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has wide, gently rolling fairways, but do not underestimate the challenge. You must keep the ball on target thanks to pot bunkers, waste areas and small, undulating greens. Horrible pace
Nice course with very friendly staff, think the need a marshal, the pace was awful. Some sports on fairway that had no grass but otherwise is it a good course in desent condition. Hcp 8
Nice course
This is well maintained. Pace was slow at first but picked up., finished in 4 and half hours. Friendly staff.
Pace of Play
Had to leave after 14 because we were already at 4:15 and still had 4 holes to play. Come on Summerfield, you can do better.
Never again !!
I have played this course 3 times. Each time it has taken 4.5 to 5 hours to play. I found out later that they schedule tee times only 7 minutes apart. After 12 holes , we waited on EVERY shot except for 2. I was also told by members while in the bar that groups routinely end their rounds prior to 18 holes
The course is tip top but it is not worth the aggravation. There are plenty of other places to play
Overbooked
Since new mgmt took over, this course is constantly overbooked. Be ready for a 5 hour round.
Great course for the price.
Overall great conditions, few greens had some invasive grasses in them, had to move balls to not have to put through them. Staff was top notch all very friendly and welcoming.
Good value for money.
Good shape and awesome staff. Some really good deals in proshop. But the pace was horrible.

Summerfield Crossings Golf Club
This course layout is excellent, pace is acceptable, and the conditions were above average. I wish the bunkers were raked more regularly, but I wouldnt consider it a complaint. Ill be back - 5 stars.
Oh well. It was a Saturday.
Course was great but they're starting to overbook like Bloomingdale and Cypress Creek, creating a 5+ hour round. Plus, my tee time was changed from what I booked (move to 15 minutes later) and I don't really appreciate that.
Nice course but slow play
This is a nice course, greens are fast, and overall course is In good shape, rhough pace of play was so slow at times we had 4 foursomes o. One par 5 hole. Great practice facilities also
Not sure about their tee interval but there were 2 groups piled up on every tee, it was late on a Sunday afternoon. Teed at 2pm and sunset at 6:30 - we did not finish.
No ranger or anyone trying to move people along.
Great value
Course was in excellent shape, driving range was pristine, greens were quick and rolled true. We had one slow group of beginners holding us up on the front, we called the club house and they sent a ranger out to tell them to speed up as requested. No pace of play issues after that. Overall I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with this place.
No such thing as pace of play
I have been playing this course off and on for 10+ years. Course was in decent shape, they put $$ into the tee boxes which is great. For as much play as this course gets, the greens were in good shape and very fast.
We had to leave after we finished the 15 hole, it was 4:15 already and there were 2 groups waiting on the 16th. Would of likely been a 5hr 15min round which is unacceptable.
No starter or ranger to speak of.
