Summerfield Crossings Golf Club
About
Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is a fun Scottish links style championship golf course designed by Ronald Garl. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has wide, gently rolling fairways, but do not underestimate the challenge. You must keep the ball on target thanks to pot bunkers, waste areas and small, undulating greens. The signature hole is No. 6, a 171-yard, par 3 that calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has a wide, gently rolling fairways.

SLOW PLAY is the norm.
Saff were very friendly. Pro shop, cart barn, starter, and beverage lady were all terrific. The course is in good shape except for temp Tee boxes(understandable). The Tees at the driving range were overgrown, maybe trying to get them to fill in. Main issue was slow play. Four groups ahead of us a 5-some of "regulars "was allowed to hold up the whole course. 6 hour round. Multiple groups on every tee box. No Ranger. After awhile it just became comical. Holes near the driving range , we started practicing and having chip offs withe the group infront and behind us. No point in playing this course again if "regulars are allowed to ruin everybodies day.
Summerfield
First time playing. Pace was good once I got past a slow foresome. Course layout was fun. A few temp tee boxes as they are re sodding and fixing the regular boxes, will be nice when it’s all done. Greens were ok but fair. Would play again.
It would’ve been nice to know that they were redoing the tee boxes at pretty much every hole.
Avoid til repairs are done
Summerfield Cross this one off your list. Tee boxes under repair on every hole, fairways filled with crab grass and dirt. Pace of play wasn’t great, no Marshall anywhere. Greens were good, staff was friendly, and it’s a good layout, but until repairs are done, it’s a crime to charge full price for this place
Fun open course
Always a good time. Very hot out but the course conditions are still great.
Be careful
Booked a hot deal, I understand the course loses money on those but they charged us when we got to the course still. Ended up being more than the normal rate. Course was fine other then that but prob wont go back for the principle.
Not a bad course, but beware
I booked on golfnow for prepaid tee time, and they still ended up charging when I got to the course. I get the courses aren’t making money, but if I knew my round was gonna be $45 not $25, i woulda played elsewhere and honestly that was enough for me not to go back
Good course
I haven’t played here in a year. I like the course. The pace was good.
Long Day
We started our round at 1050 our scheduled tee time. Pace of play was terrible. I dont know if course was overbooked or what. 5 n 1/2 hours for 18 holes was disgusting in the heat n humidity.
