About
Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is a fun Scottish links style championship golf course designed by Ronald Garl. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has wide, gently rolling fairways, but do not underestimate the challenge. You must keep the ball on target thanks to pot bunkers, waste areas and small, undulating greens. The signature hole is No. 6, a 171-yard, par 3 that calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has a wide, gently rolling fairways.

Could Be Awesome
First of all my Son and I were greeted by a rough and gruff cart guy. Pro Shop guys somewhat friendly, kinda set the tone for the day. We were paired with two very nice guys who were familiar with course, a plus it was our first visit. The course layout is great I love that part. Tee boxes great shape, fairways were good, greens were extra fast I love fast greens, but their were a couple of greens that were a little challenging dead spots, crab grass etc. I look forward to visiting again hopefully to a more friendly staff. That's really my only gripe but that's huge to me. At the end of the day you have to deal with them for 5 minutes and then you are off.

Course is in good shape. Greens are soft and have some rot. But I still.like this course.

Not what it use to be.
The course is playing okay, the greens were surprisingly faster than normal, but quite a few had crab grass and #12 was a total mess with some bald patches.
I am not a fan of summerfield and only played there because my friend picked it for convenience sake.
The attitude of everyone working in the cart barn needs adjusting, I think they believe that with the position comes great responsibility, you work there not own the course.

The course has gone downhill and is still heading down. I didn't see one green that was in decent condition, which is a shame. The tee boxes, fairways and carts are okay.
Overall the course is not worth actually paying anything over $15, so this is why I can't see myself recommending the course.
The 19th hole is decent, also they provide a ice machine with water.

The course is okay, there are other courses in the area that I would recommend before going there. They show preferential treatment to their regulars which is something I can't knock, don't bite the hands that keep you afloat.

This a favorite of mine. The course was in ok shape thats because of all the rain that we had. Always a beautiful layout.

After Rain Play
This course is always great to play. The reason for the low rating was only because we received rain the night before, and the course doesn’t drain too well. The staff can’t manage Mother Nature, so definitely not their fault.
I definitely will play here again. Just not after a bad storm.

Meh
Course was challenging with lots of water. Course monitor was sarcastic to one of the group playing. Conditions on the course were sub par, especially for early summer. T-boxes were chewed up and course was boggy and rutted. Greens were inconsistent and overly wet - drainage is a real issue on this course in general. Sand was not taken care of properly and no sign of a beverage cart the whole trip. Carts were in good shape but without GPS monitors which are always nice to have. In summary: meh, no desire to play here again with all the other area options.
