Summerfield Crossings Golf Club
About
Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is a fun Scottish links style championship golf course designed by Ronald Garl. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has wide, gently rolling fairways, but do not underestimate the challenge. You must keep the ball on target thanks to pot bunkers, waste areas and small, undulating greens. The signature hole is No. 6, a 171-yard, par 3 that calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has a wide, gently rolling fairways.

A very good track with a reasonable rate!!!
This has become one of my favorite courses to play. The course is maintained very good. About to be on the biweekly list of courses to play.
Awesome
Beautiful course. Hard to find such difficult layouts with variable elevation in Florida. Turns out here's one the whole time. Very well layed out. Accommodating staff. Awesome back nine. You won't be disappointed. Unless you do golf now app it's a bit pricey but you'll enjoy it specially if you've a group at a relaxed pace able to enjoy the views and greens.
great value
Played course many times,with standards well maintained. Great clubhouse personnel,
Callenging greens
If the pins are in the locations as they were today it is a real challenge. Must keep below hole. Fun course in good condition
Rough greens
Many of the greens had a beach full of sand. The cups are very ragged-very disappointed that the cups aren't changed when in such rough shap-the maintenance guys are doing their jobs....can somebody cut new cups?
We DONT mind playing around/during the grass changing but uncut, ragged, old cups WILL keep us away.
Jason did give me a couple pumpkins though-staff is always GREAT!
Meh...
Nothing special.
Greens were poor condition and very incosistant. Layout was average. Not worth the the 20 mile drive for me...
What a disappointment
I'm not going to mince my words, this course has gone down terribly. I can't say anything positive about the course, maybe the layout is okay. The greens are a joke and the the fairways are not that much better. I use to really love this course. I paid $15 for a hot deal and that's the only good thing about playing there.
Although I paid such a low fee for a round of golf, I would rather have paid more and played somewhere else, nuff said.
Course was in reasonable shape a couple weeks after Irma. Bermuda rough was a bit long, good luck hitting out of that. Many of the tees were all carpetgrass, that needs to be looked after quickly, before its too late. Otherwise a nice course with reasonable width fairways some holes played extra long because of the wet conditions.
Great Value
Golf Now price was a great value. Our first time on this course. The fairways were in pretty good shape. The greens are a little rough but playable. We'd play it again!
Great layout
Great layout, but the greens need work. Lot of crab grass on greens, so you don't get a true roll. Also the carts dont have gps like GolfNow states. Luckily I brought rabge finder. Overall fun course to play.
Summerfield fun, sun, humidity
With all the rain, the Summerfield team has done a great job managing the water. Staff is always friendly and courteous. It is still wet due to rains.
Fairways = soft
Greens = soft
Bunkers = wet sand
Fun course...
Nice Course
Unfortunately due to a week of heavy rain, the front nine was unplayable and the back quite wet--cart path only. Several of the greens had areas of brown spots and poor or missing grass. Layout is quite nice, looking forward to playing there again in better weather conditions. Very friendly staff and great bar/grill.
Challenging and fun
The course is well maintained and the pace of play is pretty good. A good mix of players on the course and the course always provides some challenges.
