Coweta Club at Arbor Springs Plantation

Got a great deal to play a course that was out of my rotation due to pricing. Monday is a great day to play because of less course traffic. Really enjoyed playing without holding anyone up or anyone breathing down our throats. Course has changed since last playing it and the changes were a pleasant surprise. The only two negatives (and they are minor) we had was 1) the grille was not open early for coffee or breakfast sandwich/biscuit. 2) the tee boxes need attention. But the overall experience was great and if they can keep the price in the ball park of which we paid they will see more of me and the club I belong to.

I always enjoy playing Coweta Club for the challenge it presents. This is not an easy course you can coast through. Lots of uneven lies, tight fairways and undulating greens. Still, there are scoring opportunities if you take advantage of them.

All in all I enjoyed the course. Unfortunately, it came a down pour so I only played 9 holes. The course didn't close with dangerous conditions around. In turn I wasn't able for a refund. I was also promised a code to receive to compensate for the missing holes bit I have not received it. I do look forward trying the course again.

The course is clearly one of the best challenges in town. It is a great layout with small, smooth bent grass greens.

Poor conditions. Examples, poor sand traps, as much dirt as sand. The greens had just been aerated and sanded The tee boxes had mushrooms growing on them and the markers were off to the side of the boxes. Our cart did not make it through the round and the concrete cart paths was broken up in many areas. We were expecting a 4.2 rated golf course. Unfortunately this course did not deliver.

Make sure you first evaluate your personal skill level accurately before attempting to challenge this course. Coweta/Arbor Springs is a true test. Even though I was striking the ball very well when I played, knowing the undulations and distances are crucial. Didn't have my range finder that day. Still had a great round. Beautiful layout.

Beautiful course with many challenges. You will use every club in your bag and it will be a mental challenge too. Many risk - reward choices that will see how much you really trust your swing. Loved the challenge!!!

Up from Jacksonville FL for the weekend and found this gem. Greens were pure and rolled true. Food was great. Played in 3 hours. Top notch for the price!

This course has it's challenging holes on it. I enjoy playing this course. You can always play at a good pace. Only once have we had to wait for a group in front of us. I would recommend this course to a person that plays a bit. Not for a new golfer

What a great course. I was lucky enough to play during the week and it was almost like I had entire course to myself! A challenging layout from the tips. Unlike more northern Atlanta layouts, the majority of the holes are in front of you.. A welcome change from endless blind shots and lay-ups. Elevation changes are there, so club selection and a variety of shots are helpful! I wld recommend this track to all.

Course conditioning is excellent. Challenging for all levels of players. What a value for the money. Will play here often as I live nearby.

Nice course, very hilly and challanging. The upkeep was lacking and the golf carts are the worst but that may be due to all the hills! Overall we had a great time and will go again.

This is no longer a 4.4 out of 5 rated course. As part of a real estate development that has come upon hard times during the past 6-7 years, funding to maintain this course obviously has dropped a lot. Now, only mediocre fairways, slow (but true) greens and cart paths sorely in need of repair. The good news - not many golfers on a Saturday morning, so a relatively speedy round.

Really a great quality course with good fairways and small perfect greens.

Course was in great shape considering the time of year and all the rain we've had. One of my favorite places to play.

Played alone for the front nine. Caught up to a group of members on 8 and they let me play through. There was a back up on 10 so I joined a 2 some (the golf pro and his friend). They were very friendly and I appreciated the local knowledge. Will play again next time I have a chance.

Course as in good shape. Many of the tees had excellent grass but a few needed attention. I really enjoyed this course and will be back again. The grill served excellent food with excellent service. It was top notch. I wish they stayed open later during the week.
