The course wore me out.
Enjoyed playing this course. No one pushing us, took our time and had a great time. Only problem, our tee time was at 8:00 AM and the club house didn't open until 8:00. Would have loved to have hit some ball at the driving range before teeing off.
Great course and as challenging as you want to make it.
Fun course that allows enough options to make it as challenging as you want. If you're flexible with your tee time, you can get a great value. The only complaints; I had to interrupt the staff from watching tv to try and check in and the range could use some attention. Otherwise great course for the southside of ATL.
this course Can provide you a very quite relaxing round of golf with your pal.
No wait at tee box because of front somes, Good chalanges from up and down hilled holes. But on hot summer day every one need a food and/or drinks on the field.
This course is very challenging
Dodged the rain to play Coweta Club on Saturday afternoon. Course was in good shape. I was surprised to see a 90 degree cart rule considering all the rain we have had lately. Greens were extremely soft considering. Quite a few unrepaired ball marks on the greens more than likely due to the occasional weekend warrior. Also noticed a few scuff marks here and there where someone had been dragging their feet on the greens as well. No fault of the maintenance staff. Nothing one can do when there are people playing that have no idea as to the etiquette nor respect for the golf course. Course is very challenging and ball placement is a must. Avoid the rough at all costs. Hit into it and expect to be playing for par, at best.
Great fairways .. Great view
Love it there..peaceful place with beautiful scenery
Great deal
I really enjoyed playing this course. The course was in excellent shape. The greens rolled true. It was the first time two of my foursomes had played the course so they played a lot slower than they should have. Ironically, the sign said no outside food or beverages yet we never saw a food cart during our round. I will definitely be back at $40 a round.
Excellent course..challenging layout!!!
This course is great course for mid to low handicappers...tight fairways and small greens..
excellent course
I could not have been more pleased with the course and the condition of the course even with all of the rain.I can back and played this course again on the 12th of July.If you get a chance to play this course you need to play it,the second time i PLAYED IT IT WAS WITH A FOURSOME AND EVERYONE LOVED THE COURSE.i will be back to play it again. The course is in excellent shape now.
Fantastic challenge
Pristine condition. Makes you use every club in the bag. Course management is required.
Not for the beginner and high handicapper
Great Course / Horrible Staff
Overall the course was great, but the Pro accidentally charged us for 5 people instead of 4. When questioned he told me to just get the money back from one of the people in our group. I pointed out he messed up and once agreed the Pro said it was too much of a hassle to give me credit back on the credit card, his solution was to just give me half back in cash (and once again referenced asking the group to make up the difference). I'm very disappointed because this just tainted the round for me...
Very hilly course with lots of fairway undulations.
The course is framed by tall grasses around the tee boxes, mounding around the greens and fairways start a good ways from the tee boxes. The htting areas are in pristine condition. You have to know how to handle all types of lies from the middle of the fairways, sort of like British golf, no flat lies. The greens roll very smoothly, but are not as fast as previous times I have played. I think this is due to Atlanta heat and bent grass greens. Not a power course, strategy from tee to green, no easy holes.Overall a very challenging layout.
Rainy Afternoon
When we got to the course at 5:05 PM there was a very dark cloud looming immediately overhead and slightly west of us. Upon entering the Club House, we asked the attendant if he thought it was going to rain. He said let me check the radar. He turned on the TV and we took a look at the radar... and sure enough it appeared that rain was eminent. Less than 3 minutes later it started to rain... lightly at first, then heavier, and finally a real down pour.
Based on what we saw on the radar it appeared that the storm was moving rapidly and we were going to wait to see if our predictions of a fast moving system would pan out. Sure enough... within 20 minutes or so, the rain had subsided.
We headed out. The course although wet, drained well and there were not major puddles on the course. We managed to get in a full 18 holes before it got too late and while there was still good light to see our balls clearly.
Overall, it was a good outing. Love to do it again.
1st time playing, will return
Great course layout.. Sort of hilly, elevated tee boxes, 95% are in good shape..Blind tee shot, tree lines on both side most hole, nice running greens, friendly staff.. Play was a little slow..
great deal for the money
this course was in great shape. the greens were slower than other courses I've played recently, but they rolled true. Fairways were beautiful and the rough was...well, rough. lots of short par 4's if playing from the whites, and what I liked about it was having to think about using your other clubs to set up your second shots. I played on a Friday afternoon, very few people were out (chance of rain), so I actually played (two of us) in about three and a half hours. Beautiful course, can't wait to go back.
Coweta Club Golf
We played early in the day. The fairways and greens were in great shape. There is however a lot of tall grass to lose your ball in. We lost 3-4 but found 3-4.
It was challenging and look forward to playing it again real soon.
Very very hilly!
Very impressive course
I was very impressed with how well kept and put together this course was. There was a little work being done on a couple of holes but nothing that could take away from the how great the course is overall and the design. I will definitely play here again.
Immaculately maintained course with sparse crowds. One of the more challenging courses in the Atlanta area.
Played the course on Mother's Day and there were very few golfers. Maybe saw 2 other groups all day. Great clubhouse. the range is crowded by trees which is odd. Very hilly course for the south side of Atlanta. In EXCELLENT shape. One of the better maintained courses in Atlanta. Small greens, narrow spots to hit off off tees, and a very hilly course make this an extremely challenging course. This may explain the sparse crowds. For the money and location (not a bad drive) I'd recommend everyone play once and then decide if it's too challenging.
One of my favorites in the area
Coweta Club at Arbor Springs is a course that I play frequently, particularly when it is available as a Hot Deal on Golf Now. It is always in very good shape and provides a wonderful challenge. I'm still in the beginning phases of golfing, so for me this course is somewhat difficult as it has many tight fairways off the tee and some small greens as well. Even at the regular weekday Golf Now rate of $40, this is still a good deal. Greens were aerated recently so they rolled inconsistently during yesterdays round, but I am certain they'll be in great shape within a few weeks as the season gets going.
Challenging but fun
Even in the winter with the grass dormant, the course was challenging. Probably a lot harder in the spring and summer but each hole was beautiful and the greens fast. Most holes require a straight drive because the fairways are narrow. Cart paths need some work but overall this is a very nice course..
