Greens were thick like a shag carpet and full of sand from recent aeration. If we had known ahead of time we would never have booked the tee time.

Staff and service inside the club house were excellent.

Played for the first time this spring and the course was amazing. It has gone downhill since. Greens are in rough shape - looks like perhaps they had a weed problem and now there are tons of dead spots on the green. Course is nice, staff is great and if the greens were in good shape I’d give it 5 stars. Feels like a round is maybe 20-30 dollars overpriced given the course condition.

This is the second time I’ve played this course and I love it! The course has such an amazing layout and you truly get what you pay for range balls included in fee and a wonderful practice area before teeing off one hole 1. The only complaint I have was the greens weren’t as fresh as the last time I played here they looked like they were aerated a few weeks ago so still some sand on the greens that made putting a little harder than normal. I’ll totally be back though to play again.

The greens are totally gone on this course. Infections, bad management and too much water. They are far worse than playing after aeration. No discounts offered by your firm or by the club when I brought this to their attention. I will not play at this course for the remaining of the year. It is a joke that your app charges full price for courses in this condition.

For the price paid the course fell woefully short. No notice that extensive work was being done on the greens. Several greens had dead spots & all but 2-3 greens were so sandy putting was ridiculous.

Greens are in very poor condition. Should have been a discounted round.

Everything about this place was wonderful except the greens. The staff did warn us about it before we played. Not worth $100 until they fix the greens but still a really fun and good looking layout. We had fun!!

This course was a lot of fun. Very good practice areas to work all phases of game. Was a little concerned from other comments about the condition of the greens (disease). The practice putting green is really struggling but the actual course greens were not all that bad. Fairways were generally forgiving. Bunkers were largely hard packed sand. Greens were extremely soft but pins were generally placed to avoid areas of repair. Overall we really enjoyed the course and will be back!

We have played more than 80 different golf courses in GA and it’s rated top 5 most challenging layout if played on the men’s Gold tee. Everything is great except that the “greens” are in very bad conditions due to a type of “fungal infection” giving it a black moldy look & patchy thus making it difficult to putt. My suggest is that they should artificially spray the green and roll it down properly to give it a nice “cosmetic green” look and to make everyone happy for paying such a high green fee. Well it’s just managing people’s expectation. Well the course management may have other thoughts.

What happened to Governors? Paid over $100 and the greens are embarrassing. Wouldn’t go back for $50.

As a former member, the shape of the golf course, especially the greens, was disappointing. They punched them almost 2 months ago but they are in terrible shape. Definitely not worth $111. I'm not sure how they are still fooling people into paying that amount of money for a course where some tee boxes were overgrown, greens were 50% dyed green mud, and no cart attendant was present until the 17th hole. I won't be returning. Also, putting up mansions 3 feet off the edges of the fairways is tacky and not in keeping of a highly touted "private" golf course. Save your money.

This course has a reputation of being first-class but they have failed to maintain the greens, they were uncut, sparse and in really bad shape. before booking this course, I would strongly suggest that you call ahead and ask about green conditions.
