Awesome layout and played extremely fast! Great day!

Nice course, not worth 65 bucks, more about 45 but it’s a private club.

Governors has always been a treat and I was happy to see it available on GolfNow to us who can't afford a full membership. We all love the layout and the experience. However we were a bit disappointed in the condition. The greens were inconsistent at best. A bit fluffy on most, and varying across the 18. Sand not raked. Some dead spots on the greens. Lots of marks on the greens resulting in poor roll. It was simply frustrating to hear my friends complain as it was my idea to invite them to a special day. I hope it was just a bad day, and not an indication of continued declines to save money like I've seen on other courses. With Covid, it's hard to get a tee time anywhere. Let's hope those dollars get invested in better experiences.

Overall the course was in pretty good shape the greens were pretty beat up with Divet marks so the putting was not very good. None of the bunkers had been rate but the fairways and pine straw were very well-maintained $90 was a little steep considering the condition of the greens.

Governors is a first class course and the staff treats everyone, including non-members through Golf Now bookings, very well. A friend and I played today. Course and greens are always in pristine shape. Starter and check in staff were cordial A great value at $65. Will play as as often as we can. We appreciate the club letting non members come play periodically.

worth the $90 green fee. great course and excellent greens. the course layout is great. it’s challenging but fair. . it’s semi private so it’s not like a public course. it’s very well maintained.

I hate to give a poor review of this course, but after playing 15 or so holes a group of 8 members (yes 8 all in one group) began hitting into us. No big deal it happens my group was not upset.. Evidently this group decided that my group had done something to offend their group (maybe they didn’t like my shirt I’m really not sure, although it was a great shirt) and two of the gentlemen confronted myself and my partners on the 18th green. We never spoke to these people or interacted in any other way but they took it upon themselves to drive up to the green and ask us if we had a problem. As a member of a club close by I hope my members don’t act like drunken teenagers to visiting players. Guess we will look elsewhere for golf from now on. Cobblestone is a great track with better greens and no one has ever tried to start a fight with me there. Way to keep it upscale GTC, your current members drove off potential new members. Appalling behavior from adults and the club should be ashamed to call these guys members.

Used to be a great track. I think The club is still living off its past successes. Everything has gone down hill from the greens being non-receptive, the bunkers are in poor shape, overall appearance not great, etc. I’d bet the members here a furious that we all get to be “members for a day”! Would be nice to see this course get another infusion of capital to restore it to its beginnings. To be honest, 18 holes here is worth $45. $85.... no way. There are other Public courses in the area that are better value ( Cobblestone, The Frog). Maybe I saw the course in its past glory and that’s why my review is harsh. However, $85 is close to private prices and conditions and the conditions at Governors are not at that level.
