The day we played it had been raining the day before, and all night and up until we started and held out for 2/3 of the round and started raining on the last four holes again. Because of the rain there was only one other golfer, so pace of play was up to us.

Many tee boxes grass was tore up and not grown.

The greens had just been aerated and sanded.

The 12th hole was closed.

I wish they would give a discounted price during this time when the course is under such maintenance.

Took over 5 hours to play 18 on a Saturday afternoon. No rangers on the course to push the slow pace of play. Also, a lot of crabgrass in the fairways which was kind of disappointing with paying $100z Greens were in solid shape.

Pretty embarrassing considering the home values and what the course used to be. Bunkers with no sand , weeds growing. Tee boxes without grass. 17 holes but full price. Not what it used to be.

Only 17 holes available to play because the 12th was closed and aerated greens this week but still charging full price. Bunkers are in terrible shape for a course like this. The course is usually in better shape, but at least the staff was friendly.

Played here for the first time this week.

Pros:

Great practice facility with free range balls

Superfast and slick greens

Great course layout

Cons:

Many tee boxes had no grass, but sand

Bunkers hardly had any sand, so hard to play out of

Fairways were so so with some bald spots

Quite a long drive to get there

Overall: Many other courses around the area in good shape compared to this course, so not worth the hike to play

No sand bottles in the carts or water provided in the cooler (there was ice though). USB power ports were not working. Nice practice facility. No starter or rangers present regulate things. I was paired up as a single with another golfer. Upon getting to the tee the group before me and the golfer I was paired with were all co-workers and informed me they were going to play as a “fivesome”. They did allow me to go ahead of them though. Pace was about 5 hours on a Wednesday. Tee boxes were inconsistent. Some were in great shape, others were very sandy with very poor foot traction. Greens were the best part. Some of the best in the area. Fairways were just starting green up from dormancy but we’re in good shape. Some areas just off the “playing area” of the hole needed MAJOR work though and looked unfinished. Some bunkers had poor lips with exposed liners but sand depth was consistent. Layout was nice. Lots of steep hills at fronts of green. Don’t come up short! I summary, it seems like more of a $50 course….not a premium $80-90 one.

Friday mid morning tee time and they put a 5 some in front of us and added a 5th person to our group. Very disappointing for a $100 round. Also a couple tee boxes were just sand. The round took 5:15

Staff is very friendly. Good course layouts and greens in great shape.

Good course but fairway and tee boxes suffering from weather. Not an $80 course right now….

I cannot believe this course costs over $100, especially given the condition of the course and pace of play. Much better options in the Metro Atlanta area. This used to be my group’s go-to, but I don’t see us coming back any time soon.

Really enjoyed playing the course again. Time of play was perfect. Pricey for what you get. Other options in area for half the price.

Course conditions were absolutely miserable. I was a member some years ago and it was always one of the nicest courses around. Everything was washed out and not maintained and for $102 you’d expect a lot more.

On 7 we were in the fairway and a maintenance team came by and blew off the par 3 tee box yet failed to do anything to the fairway bunker at the bottom of the hill. Glad we had those guys blow off that tee box. Not sure how we would’ve managed it.

On 15, the whole green side bunker was destroyed.

It’s gonna take a while for me to justify coming back. It’s a crime to charge what they are for what they’re providing. An absolute joke.
