First class from the moment we drove up to the time we left. Front staff and pro shop was very friendly. Was cart path only the day we played but didn't take away from the overall experience. First time playing the course from the back tees and enjoyed the round. Would recommend it to anybody!!

Course was in great shape. Alec in the club house is always a class act and a pleasure to deal with. Pace of play got slow starting the back 9 but that’s golf! Great time…totally recommend

The course condition, along with the beautiful surroundings certainly make it a Wow experience.

A small mixup at the start with overbooked groups so they let us off the back.

Absolutely perfect course, can’t think of anything negative. Greens were a bit hard but rolled true, fairways were lush, rough was thick but the second cut was wide enough that you were allowed some errant tee shots.

Absolutely love the layout of the course, 2nd time playing but 1st time playing both nines, course had aerified the greens

Nice layout with a lot of interesting, fun holes. Very hilly - take a cart. Wet conditions made for super slow greens, but the course was in nice shape. Glad this course was recommended to us during our short visit to the Atlanta area. Would definitely play again.

Had a group of 8 ahead of us on a Saturday afternoon, our group of 4 waited 20+ minutes to tee off on every hole.

Ridiculous to say the least.....

$100+ to play and to get held up like that for 8 people, how is it even possible? 8 people 8!!

1st staff at checkin was excellent; driving range was excellent. Course layout for visitors was horrible no signage on how to navigate the holes. Sand bunkers need a lot of work; definitely doesn’t warrant in the 100hundres course range. Greens aeration should have been a bigger discount. Rough was thick but the grass had been mowed and left the old grass clipping which made it had to find your balls. Love the cart girl! I would try it again at a later date!

Disappointed with the conditions. Sand bunkers had no sand. They were washed out and some had grass growing in them. Second cut off fairway was so high a foot off the fairway you lost your ball. Course has many cut up golf balls from lawn mower and lost balls. Grass was being cut on a Friday which we for 7 holes. Staff was excellent and friendly.

GTC has potential to be a great golf course. The layout is interesting and would be great if the course condition was better. The fairways were in great shape, but the rest of the course conditions were sub=par. The greens had been punched and sanded, which was not disclosed when the tee time was booked. The bunkers had almost no sand. There were clumps of grass clippings piled up all over the course in the rough. I'd like to play it again after they took care of the necessary maintenance.

My fault, missed the notice about aeration. Great course, will play again.

Was only able to play front nine as they just went through a aerification process. Hopefully I’ll get a opportunity to play the back nine. Also some work needs to be done in most bunkers, they’re overgrown with weeds and hasn’t been attended to in some time.

The course was in good condition. The greens were perfect. Played here a few times and seems like they have fixed issues they had in the past. Greens and fairways were top notch. For the amount of rain the course got the night before, while being wet, there was very little standing water anywhere!

I’ve been playing here 10 years and it’s my favorite course around. They grew out the rough a little, which makes it a good challenge. Greens are in good shape. I like the improvements around the green on #4. Pace of play was great until we hit a wall on #7. Still finished with a twosome in 4:15 but not the usual fast pace of play.

Played Governors for the first time in a while!I have always liked this course. They were friendlier than ever. It’s coming around and they are not far from being totally private. Better play while you can. Better yet, join while you can!

This is the 4th or 5th time I’ve played this course in the last 8-10 years. By far the best shape I’ve ever played it! Fairways super nice. Greens, for bent and as hot … amazing. Well done agronomy staff!

This place is a hidden gem. From the moment you turn into the club until you leave, you are treated just like a member. The course is absolutely amazing. The greens were perfect; the fairways off-the-chains, and the bunkers were maintained well. Yes, the tee boxes were a little sandy but they will be great in no time as they are maintaining them. This place could host a tour event --- it's that nice! Oh, and the range, wow. Come early and see one fine practice facility. Can't wait to play it again. Bring your camera!
