Hampton Golf Village

Course is ok - very hilly. If you don’t land on fairway or green you’re in trouble. Course was in mediocre condition

Course was a nice layout. Several tee boxes and collars were lacking grass. Several greens had rough spots as well.

Was not aware that they were plugged and sanded which made for an average experience. Sometimes you couldn’t hit it hard enough to get to hole. Also, no idea why rough is cut down to bare bones so on most holes the ball rolls way down a ditch when it seems to land in rough and safe. Front nine is worst side of it. Hopefully with price increases they can make a couple of improvements soon. Overall not a bad course but you want to see money going back into course somehow. Lastly, it sure would be nice to have club cleaner buckets on range for $18 a bucket…

Greens rolled good even though sanded recently. Great layout. Bring a lot of balls unless your a 5 handicap. Staff is great.

Overall a decent course. The price seemed a bit high for me. The course has a decent amount of rolling hills in the fairways. A few more tee boxes with ball washers would be nice. allowed/converted some old sand traps in to “grass traps.” Course Marshals were and about.

Even the rain was not able to decrease our experience at Hampton’s.

My European visitors enjoyed as much as I as the course is very versatile and challenging from hole to hole.

And the staff was superb.

I would have given this course an overall 5 star but it’s crazy to charge $85.00 when the greens are bumpy from being punched. The Tee boxes need some attention as well. The positive side is the course pace of play was good and the staff was extremely nice. I’ve always liked this course and look forward to the greens heeling.

Greens finally starting to recover. Combined with all the trees taken out, should really grow in nicely as the season progresses.

Disappointed to show up without notice that the greens were punched at full price.

TheLack of transparency is a big let down

Played with friends that we lover the course and friendly enitre crews.

We will definitely play again and again.

I get that the course is still largely dormant. I’ve been coming here for years and the price has always been reasonable and course in great shape. Yesterday was disappointing-I just don’t think it is worth $80-$90 in current conditions.

Atlanta metro golfers are going to struggle to find value for money if prices keep continuing to increase at the rate.

Greens punched towards end of February. Worse shape than 2 weeks ago, long putts may bump up 2-5 times, completely unpredictable. Not sure why, but surely will improve with growth. Many fairways washed out in spots; dried out now but really poor. Prior heavy rains and recent cold spell probably the cause. Hopefully can recover soon.
