Worth the drive
Great day at Hampton Golf Village. Course was wet so cart path only. Greens, though wet early, were fast and true. Fairways were in great shape. Tee boxes could have been a little better but nothing to really complain about. Cart girl passed several times even though course was full. Plays a lot longer than scorecard yardage, although wetness could have played a role in this.

Tee boxes in great shape, fairways in great shape, greens receptive and rolled fast. Good round.

Would love to play it when it dires
Course was cart path only today, so play was a little slow but not unreasonable. Fairways were soggy, so no roll or bounce. Greens were very true - even this a.m. when they were wet, they were fairly quick unless putting into the grain. Can't wait to play it again when it is dry and not cart path only. GPS was helpful, although it does not give you yardages to hazards, etc. Would definitely play it again.

Wet, wet, wet!
The course was in good shape other than being wet from dew, days of rain, and runoff from that rain. We teed off shortly after 8am and by 10am or so some greens were starting to dry which changed their speed and made them inconsistent from one hole to the next. The bunkers were full of sand and the rough was enough to slow your ball, but not make it unfindable or unplayable. It was the first time playing this course for my three partners and all said they'd like to play it again when it is not so wet to require "cart path only."

Nice Morning
Early start. Like that was given the opportunity to pay a little more for my own cart. Tee boxes to greens were in good shape. Greens seemed to be be quicker than most other times at this course. Pace was excellent. Partners paired up were good folks to spend the morning with. Nice day at Hampton.
