Hampton Golf Village

Although this time around I ran into quite a bit of traffic on the back 9, this is still one of my favorite courses in north GA. Course was in great condition, price isn’t bad when you consider some of the surrounding courses charge about $20 less but have bunkers that look like rain forests and sinkholes in the middle of fairways. I do and will continue recommending this course to friends.

Had a wonderful round of golf today. We started right in time, pace was excellent. Course was in great condition. We will definitely play the course again. Soon!

Kudos to the staff as the course is in excellent shape

I play Hampton with my normal group several times a year, and it is always in great shape. The clubhouse staff is always friendly and welcoming (that matters to me) as are the course marshals (who do their job but in a friendly way... very much appreciated). Though it is a course that is in the middle of a neighborhood, you never feel like the homes are right on top of you... rarely that feeling of dread that you might slice one thru someone's kitchen window. That said, the rough can be high (lost a ball just right of the cart path on a par-3... but that's on me, not the course!), but if you play a decent game, you'll shoot a decent score. Put the ball where you should never put it, you'll pay the price... that's called golf!

Oh, really good driving range and practice putting green here, too. All in all, excellent value at Hampton.

Parking lot was half empty so we expected fast play from 900am. Not to be. It took 4.5 hours in 90 def heat to play 18 holes. Love the course though.

This was the first time playing this course for my Dad and me and we loved it. Thought the grounds were nice and nicely maintained. Staff was friendly. We played too early to get any food or beverages. The course was challenging in spots - probably a bit more challenging than someone like my handicap has any business on - but we were still managed to make our way through it at a good pace.

Anything under $50 for the round is a solid value for this course.
