Hampton Golf Village

Hampton is always a great place to play, with the best part being the incredibly friendly staff (pro shop, grill room, ranger, everybody!) This round was just a couple of days post-Helene, so the course was VERY wet in several places, but I expected that going in. Regardless, the course had drained well and the greens were fantastic. Kudos to the staff for keeping the course playable after such a tough weather event!

Overall, I would highly recommend this course to anybody.The course, is also very well laid out

Greens fee 41 dollars on weekdays and also verified it online. Charged me 58 dollars but couldn't explain why.the price changed. Played 9 and needed a raincheck. Gave me a song and dance and said their policy was to give me 14 dollars. I don't have to say it, you know what's going on here. Will never return.

One of the best value courses around. Always in good shape. Don’t try to take you for too much money, especially during the weekdays. Layout is challenging for every level but fair. Go to course.

Greens need work since other golfers fail to repair ball marks. Slows down play to fix your line to putt to the pin

Staff is always great, very friendly, efficient. Course was generally in good shape, lots of work going on to improve tee boxes. Only complaint is the condition of the greens. While the grass itself is well maintained, they all look like a war zone because of unrepared ball marks, actually making it difficult to putt. They also filled in several sand bunkers in the past year, which may have improved pace of play slightly and made it easier to maintain, took away some of the challenge of the course.

Good changes. They made 18 a par five and shortened 7 and made it a par 4. Reasonable and supposed to aid pace of play. Greens are pretty scarred but fun to pit on. FIX YOUR BALL MARKS. It’s bent grass and needs love. Beverage cart service was outstanding and clubhouse staff and starter very professional. Enjoyed the round.

This was the best condition I’ve seen this course in. Greens were holding yet rolling good fairways in good shape. Pace of play was pretty good as well. My only negative about this course are the down and up holes. Also wish the price was a little less. Otherwise had a great day nice to see the course playing in great shape.

Overall Hampton is a great course, only draw back like lots of public courses is divot repair on greens. They can lookk very beat up at times

Good track. Hit a good ball off the tee. Greens are a little soft. Lots of ball marks. Green side chips were leaving marks. Get those greens firmed up and you have a great course.

Only one tee box (#2) had challenges - it was at the last part of being sanded, so the greens were a bit slow, but fair
