Hampton Golf Village

Under rated course. It’s always in good shape and the price is good relatively speaking.

This is a challenging course that is almost always in good condition. They do a nice job of not overcharging for their course. It’s a rarity to have ownership decide to provide value instead of squeezing every nickel they can out of us. Keep up the good work and I will be back often!!

The good news - There are some great holes here with very tight and some wide open holes. Greens were firm and putted well..

There are several severe drop offs around several greens - Number 1 - 6 which can really slow the pace of play if you go down there. Two holes with massive climbs - 4 and 12 are just not great holes and slow the pace of play.. not much you can do about it..

Although loved the brutal 18th.. easy par 5 or hard par 4..

Starter was excellent and proactive. Staff preparing food for players were friendly and fast

Two negatives - Sand buckets were empty in cart. Almost got hit 3 times in 2 minutes on 18th fairway from the nearby range.. Please put up a net... Just common sense

Overall a fun day

We have played this course many times. I've been Golfing for 50 years and most every crazy story we have is from a weird single paired up with us at Hampton. I don't know why this particular course attracts so many idiots. Most recently, the guy we played with was on his phone from the first Tee shot until #4 continuously with the same person. He wasn't paying attention to the Golf, to us, or even to his game. We told him on #4 either he gets off his phone, or plays ahead of us. The nerve of him. It was so rude. Apparently, he thinks the world is his phone booth.

Extremely. Slow play! No Marshalls and who lets a 5 some play on a Friday or ever? They never even offered to allow play through. No group in front of this group for multiple holes.

Course was good and facilities were good but smell was terrible in air around clubhouse.

Won’t go back until this is fixed..

I've played a few nice courses in the area, Bradshaw, Woodmont, ect. This is right up there with them and cheaper. Course has some challenging elevation change holes. Scenery was beautiful. Carts were fantastic. Staff was also great. I will definitely be playing here again.
