About
Situated along Florida's Gulf Coast, Riverside Golf Club in Ruskin is part of a peaceful retirement community. At just over 6,100 yards from the tips, the golf course is on the short side but it still offers an enjoyable round. From the back tees, the course actually presents quite a formidable test. The layout meanders along a creek before wandering across idyllic farmland and finishing along the river bluffs overlooking Hayes Bayou. The diverse terrain provides an array of scenery as well as a variety of different challenges. Water hazards come into play on several holes and there are several strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides, waiting to swallow errant shots. Riverside Golf Club's layout combines more difficult holes with player-friendly features, which makes it approachable for players of any skill level.

Interesting Course
We two girls enjoyed this course very much as we are used to playing an Executive Course.
We got a Hot Price and paid for 18, but only played 9 as rain was coming.
Asked for a rain check, but wasn’t given one.
Had lunch after. Lisa and staff members in restaurant were superb!
Not sure how to get back to Clubhouse after 9 holes. Not marked well.
We’ll be back.

Not a bad course considering the lack of Florida rain. The greens were air rated nicelu.

Course was in good shape without any recent rain. Green's were a little sandy after air ration
Good Conditions, Excellent Pace Of Play
Teed off late morning as a threesome. Finished in just over three hours. Conditions were excellent. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Recommend this course and look forward to returning soon.
Not a course worth that much money
This course is not worth the price of admission (NOT AT ALL) at best this course should be 25.00 at most, it’s tucked In between a TRAILER PARK / A Trailer Park that is Gated, a gated community with trailers that looks like they have been there for 200 years. Nothing that is scenery, dirty ponds all over the course// yards that haven’t been cut and trailers that looks like the city needs to condemn them hail of them. Don’t be fooled by the pictures and the landscape you see on the internet, not even close. And don’t try to blame the storms here in Florida because the storms has nothing to do with the yards or the paint and years on the ( TRAILERS). I Will never return there never. That course should be for the residence that resides there and let them pay for the maintenance and up keep of the course.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Course was in poor condition and #12 was closed, although they were working on it. The greens were verticut and slow. It was hard to find a good lie and chipping around the greens was tight, so bladed a few!
