About
Situated along Florida's Gulf Coast, Riverside Golf Club in Ruskin is part of a peaceful retirement community. At just over 6,100 yards from the tips, the golf course is on the short side but it still offers an enjoyable round. From the back tees, the course actually presents quite a formidable test. The layout meanders along a creek before wandering across idyllic farmland and finishing along the river bluffs overlooking Hayes Bayou. The diverse terrain provides an array of scenery as well as a variety of different challenges. Water hazards come into play on several holes and there are several strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides, waiting to swallow errant shots. Riverside Golf Club's layout combines more difficult holes with player-friendly features, which makes it approachable for players of any skill level.

You get what you pay for
Considering it was a total of $20, you can’t complain. Some of the fairways were in OK shape, but not much grass. A couple of rough greens, but overall not too bad. A decent value for the cost.
We’ll be back.
Greens were in good shape. A few dry patches here and there on fairways. The course plays a little faster than most. Overall it’s a very nice course.
Hidden gem
Greens were in good shape. Pace was a normal 4 hours. Amenities closed due to Covid.
I like the layout
Great course, not crowded, excellent for fas play golf. I would select this course if and when I plan a golf tournment.
Goat Path-WILL NOT PLAY AGAIN
Even at the bargain price for playing in November the course was not worth the $18.00 green fees. Customers should be told of course conditions when booking online !
Was not noted online or when paying at check in that only total of 9 holes were open to play. The starter told us. the news. Had to skip many holes throughout 18 holes with playing same 9 holes Twice. This made pace of play VERY slow. to add misery to the slow play while in fairway you were hitting off dirt because grass was scare. I will say the Greens were in good shape. Remember you get what you pay for, I would have played somewhere else if I had new of the courses conditions.

Don’t like to leave bad reviews or even reviews at all but completely thought about it twice when it was less than 20$ to play. If you want to play your fair way shot out of the rough then be my guest set up a Tee time

Fairly decent golf course will definitely go again
Okay course
The course is only in fair shape. The greens are okay. For the price it is a good deal for an outing with friends. Do not expect a championship course because it is not close. It is more like a cowpasture turned into a golf course. I think it is more for residences than for guests. I had fun playing. Nothing difficult.

On the Money for the Price
Green could use some love. Fairways in decent condition and very wide on this course. Just hard enough to make it fun for all skill levels. Crowded but finished round slightly under 4 hours. Did not hit into any group and no one hit into our group. Carts are new and ran very well.

Enjoyable Round
My wife and I like to play this course because we can get a low price on Hot Deals. It has never been crowded and we can usually play in about 3 hours. Some of the fairways need work but the greens are in good shape overall.
