Riverside Golf Course

t boxes and fairways were in desperate need of mowing, greens were in great shape though

For the hot deal price it can't be beat. Fairways and tee boxes need help. Greens were in good shape but very slow. I'll be back.

The bar was closed..they had no ice.. Greens were fairway length not mowed.. tons of weeds on greens..tee boxes over grown with weeds..overall very disappointed overall and may not be back this year..

Will not return to this course. The staff was very un friendly to my associate I played with.

First time playing, enjoyable time, not too difficult course to play, the back nine needs some work because of all the homes being built. The staff was very helpful and professional, and seemed ready to assist at a moments notice. Plan on playing again, soon!

Generally poor condition. Fairways in poor condition. Very slow play.

Going in, had no idea what to expect. Some bare spots, thin areas and the greens were slow. Now, don't let that scare you off, the layout was a surprise, and with the water on many holes, it made this place a real test. Winding in and out of homes in a gated senior community didn't cause much concern and out in the woods on the back nine made it fun. It needs some help, and the greens were slow, but, I did enjoy it and the staff was great. Compared to some of the surrounding places, this was a surprise find.

Wife and I played. Paired with father and older son. Had a great time.

Ok course lots of trouble which makes it a challenge. Pace was slow but seeing that everywhere, lots of tourists. The restaurant was closed so no food or cart girl. The course was in decent shape will try again

I am talking about the greens. They have very lush large undulating greens but they are always painfully slow. Speed of play was great during our afternoon tee time because most of the members play in mornings. This course has many very challenging holes. We will play again soon.

DO NOT SHOW UP WITHOUT A PRINTED GOLFNOW CONFIRMATION!! CLUBHOUSE / PRO SHOP STAFF DOES NOT HANDLE, MANAGE AND SERVICE THE GOLFNOW ACCOUNTS AND GOLFERS WITHOUT A PRINTED CONFIRMATION! THEY ALSO CLAIM TO HAVE NO COMPUTER RECORDS AND ACCESS TO ANY GOLFNOW RESERVATIONS!!! GATED SECURITY WAS ALSO AN ISSUE AND IN THE PROCESS OF BEING CHANGED AND UPDATED!! AS THEY MAY HAVE A VARIETY OF GOLFERS,.... BOTH CLUB PRIVATE, AND PUBLIC AND DO A VARIETY OF LOCAL MARKETING AND ADVERTISING. HAD TO DO THEIR JOB AND GIVE SUGGESTIONS AND ADVICE!! IT WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT I WAS INCONVIENCED, QUESTIONED PERSONALLY AND PRIVATELY, SET UP AND DELAYED BY THEIR STAFF!! HOWEVER,... ONCE YOU GET THRU THEIR PROBLEMS IN THE PRO SHOP,..........THE COURSE GREENS WERE MUCH IMPROVED AND IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE!!

very good course to play if you are not in a hurry. Regulars tend to be slow. Took 4 1/2 hours.

Eveery timee we play Riverside with golf now,they seem that they don"t like it and give us a hard time.We don"tt go before oue tee time even if there is nobody on tee,ysterday,we had a tee timee at 11.30 and they let us go only at 12 00 because thete way a tournement going on. We did not appreciate cause we had to wait.

I was hesitant to play here due to the less than favorable reviews I had read and the response I got when asking some of the players in a league I am in about poor conditions. Anyway I got a hot deal and played a round with my wife's, what a surprise it was. The facility was nice and clean, staff in pro shop very friendly and gave use course info since we have not played it before, carts clean and no problems, course well marked as it goes through the homes, the workers on the course were courteous while we played, they would even tell us the best way to approach the green on a few of the holes. The course it self was overall good to average fairways were average and the green were good, we would have said very good except the grass was a little long and that made them very slow and the ball kind of wandered a bit, the appearance of the greens was very good, no bare spots or any type of defects in them. Overall we found this to be a challenging and fun course, it was not crowded and we didn't feel pushed. We will play here often now.

If you're looking for a challenging, PGA type of 8,000 yd course, this isn't the course for you. If you're looking for a nice, leisurely round of golf this course could be for you. My son and I played as a twosome and both the twosome in front and the one behind were husband and wife twosomes who seemed to be out just to enjoy some golf. The course is relatively short with a number of straight, flat holes so the course is not particularly challenging but for those who find the game of golf challenging the course is perfect.

A course I will play again and I will recommend it.

I had play to many courses in the Tampa Bay Area and Riverside Golf Club is my favorite because always I have played here everything in this Course is gratificant to me an my partners of play. Its enviroment is quiet and we dan play with out stress, plenty of relax , Defínetely I recomend this Golf Course

Course is a bit neglected. Tee box full of weed. The overall condition is not horrible but it's obviously that it can use a bit more TLC.

Course in overall okay condition remembering this is not an expensive/pristine course, So it was in acceptable condition the holes that were open to play. There were 4 holes shut down which the counter person did not tell us about. You had to move from hole 8 to hole 12 which was a little hard to find. We have played the course once before. I cant complain about the price but c;mon tell the folks 4 holes are closed today. Hey we piggy back this course and going outlet shopping in Ellenton so not a lost day. I most likely will play again not often but again.
