About
Situated along Florida's Gulf Coast, Riverside Golf Club in Ruskin is part of a peaceful retirement community. At just over 6,100 yards from the tips, the golf course is on the short side but it still offers an enjoyable round. From the back tees, the course actually presents quite a formidable test. The layout meanders along a creek before wandering across idyllic farmland and finishing along the river bluffs overlooking Hayes Bayou. The diverse terrain provides an array of scenery as well as a variety of different challenges. Water hazards come into play on several holes and there are several strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides, waiting to swallow errant shots. Riverside Golf Club's layout combines more difficult holes with player-friendly features, which makes it approachable for players of any skill level.

Fun funky course
Staff is super friendly. Greens are in good condition but are really slow. Nice wide fairways on many holes but the low handicap holes are quite challenging. Friendly bar on the river for your 19th hole ritual. Course winds through the manufactured home community until 8th hole when you enter a conservation area, the reenters the community for the last 4 holes.

We actually golf here a lot. The staff is always very friendly and the pace of play so always great. Just found out the bar is not only on Monday.
I like the course but the greens had just been sanded
I like the course but the greens had just been sanded so the puts were a little hard to make. The fairways and bunkers were in good shape. I hope to play again when the greens are in better shape.
Fun course to play.
My only negative is that the greens were a little slow, but with all of the wet weather we have been getting, it's expected.
Mike in the proshop is the best. Hey Mike if no one else says it, I will. You are appreciated.

Short course but tight layout. Good fairways and greens. Go to course!!

Nice little course a lot of intimidation off the tee due to how narrow it is. Precision is definitely required. Conditions are good to ok. Green abit slow. The staff and players here are super friendly and nice
Beautiful Course for the Money!
Loved visiting Riverside. It’s got a very local feel and you can tell everyone in the neighborhood takes a lot of pride in this beautiful course. There’s very wide, spread out fairways and the layout is really cool with limited water traps. The facilities are very nice and I enjoyed everyone in the staff. The course wasn’t busy at all so we had a relaxing pace of play. One thing for me at this course is the front and back 9 don’t intersect with the Clubhouse. It was brutal playing 18 right through the sun without a break. No cart girl or anything so pack a lunch and plenty of water. Other than that I loved it and appreciate everyone at Riverside Golf Club!
