About
Situated along Florida's Gulf Coast, Riverside Golf Club in Ruskin is part of a peaceful retirement community. At just over 6,100 yards from the tips, the golf course is on the short side but it still offers an enjoyable round. From the back tees, the course actually presents quite a formidable test. The layout meanders along a creek before wandering across idyllic farmland and finishing along the river bluffs overlooking Hayes Bayou. The diverse terrain provides an array of scenery as well as a variety of different challenges. Water hazards come into play on several holes and there are several strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides, waiting to swallow errant shots. Riverside Golf Club's layout combines more difficult holes with player-friendly features, which makes it approachable for players of any skill level.

Worth it
1st time playing here and it’s worth it. Course conditions were very nice and greens in perfect shape (they could have been a little faster but no complaints).
If you’re looking for a winter round and don’t want to break the bank play out here! I’ll be back.
Good Conditions, Excellent Pace of Play, Friendly Staff
Played late morning weekend round as a twosome. Although weather was perfect, course was not crowded and we finished in less than four hours. Greens and sand traps were in very nice shape. Fairways were a bit thin, but we played ’ball down’ the entire round. Mike in the clubhouse was welcoming and made us feel as if our business was appreciated. Would play here again and can recommend this course (especially at their rates compared to other nearby venues).
Fun funky course
Staff is super friendly. Greens are in good condition but are really slow. Nice wide fairways on many holes but the low handicap holes are quite challenging. Friendly bar on the river for your 19th hole ritual. Course winds through the manufactured home community until 8th hole when you enter a conservation area, the reenters the community for the last 4 holes.
Always a pleasure
We actually golf here a lot. The staff is always very friendly and the pace of play so always great. Just found out the bar is not only on Monday.
I like the course but the greens had just been sanded
I like the course but the greens had just been sanded so the puts were a little hard to make. The fairways and bunkers were in good shape. I hope to play again when the greens are in better shape.
Fun course to play.
My only negative is that the greens were a little slow, but with all of the wet weather we have been getting, it's expected.
Mike in the proshop is the best. Hey Mike if no one else says it, I will. You are appreciated.
Short course
Short course but tight layout. Good fairways and greens. Go to course!!
