Renditions Golf Course
About
Renditions Golf Course is a unique layout that features replicas of holes from U.S. Open or PGA Championship venues. Given each hole is modeled after holes from around the world, the course offers plenty of variety ranging from parkland to links. Holes six through nine are replicas of Augusta National's famous Amen Corner. Like their inspiration, Renditions' versions are a formidable test. The golf course offers a round unlike any other. Nowhere else would you be able to get a taste of golf's most well known courses all in one place. After several hundred trees were added to the landscape, which was formerly the site of a sand mining operation, it was completely transformed into the perfect setting for golf, enhanced even further by the Patuxent River that flows nearby.

Great
Had a great time. Course great shape. Greens, 4 days after being plugged, they did call and let me know ahead of time that they were plugging the greens. All in all a great visit.
Gimmicky, but fun.
staff was over the top nice. Made us feel at home. The course was understandably challenging. You could tell which holes they focus on maintaining. Some prestine, some ignored. Overall a fun day. Price a little on the high side for the conditions.
A great and fun course to play.
Course was pristine and staff was very cordial. I enjoyed the many different holes with PGA likeness. I especially enjoyed the masters portion and hole 13. Would recommend to all my friends to play at this course.
A Must-Play Novelty
Must play at least once. It is a fun novelty course, and always in great condition when I've played there (3 times#. The replicas of Amen Corner #Augusta National#, The Island Green #Sawgrass #17), & Oakmont #3 make this course worth the price of a round. Not necessarily as great as some of the other premium courses is the area ie: Lake Presidential, PB Dye, Whiskey Creek.
allways a favorite
a little wet yesterday but that's all. great day and quick round
Awesome
This course lives up to its billing. Amazing condition, and when else are you going to be able to play this caliber of holes. They hit the nail directly on the head. From Amen corner, to Sawgrass's par 3 island green, its like what you see on TV. Staff was extremely nice, answered any/all questions. One of the nicest courses I have ever played. I would recommend this to any golfer, especially those who love the history of golf. You will not be disappointed. I would give it 6 stars if i could.
But, we did run into an issue with the ranger. A group behind us quit mid-round* and told the staff we were playing 2 balls, which we were not. But according to the ranger (who could have approached the issue with a little more class), you are not supposed to a) play provisional shots, or b) hit a 2nd shot if your first goes OB. Apparently the rules of golf are a little different to him. He told us we had to drop farther down the fairway.
*the pace of play had us waiting on tee-boxes and fairways, which is to be expected on a course like this, so it is not like we were slowing anybody down by (observing the rules of golf and) hitting a second shot (People will want to take pictures of the scenery, and most did, including us). Renditions is not a course that you are going to be able to play a 3 hour round of golf.
The course is okay (I only play here because it is five minutes from my house.). Staff treats customers very poorly.
Every time I play here (4x this year), the starter gives me a condescending lecture about how he can't send a single out alone because "I don't own the course". During my last round a SINGLE playing behind my foursome complained to the ranger about our pace of play. The ranger proceeded to lecture us about the prohibition of playing multiple balls, which we never did. He then proceeded to repeat his accusation three times until we felt sufficiently berated. He then warned us to not play more than one ball on the upcoming #13 island hole. Several holes later the ranger met up with us again to mention how it seemed like we were "keeping up" a better pace now. Did I mention that we had to wait on almost every tee for the foursome ahead of us, and on par fives, the foursome ahead of them. There was no way to play faster then we were.
Also, in the clubhouse at the register there is a pyramid display of logo balls with one balance at the very top. There is no sign indicating "not for sale" or "for display purposes only" however this is definitely the case. Word to the wise. What ever you do, don't even think about touching these balls. These are special balls. You will be chastised and scolded severely for doing so by the man behind the counter. Those are his balls and his alone! Other than that, play at your own risk.
Needs some work
Over priced for the condition. A few holes were ok, but a lot of them needed work, especially the rough and some tee boxes. Enjoyed Amen corner and TPC Sawgrass, but other than that, pretty average course. Maybe it was just too early in the season.
Great course, but sloowwwwww
I had a blast playing this course. All the replica holes are a neat twist. However, having to wait at the 7th for 30 min was a bit of a turn off. I wouldn't go back on a wknd, but would play it again in a heart beat during the week.
Fun course
The course was a lot of fun. The replicas were pretty close to the real deal and it was fun to play what the pros play. My only gripe would be that several of the tee boxes were not even or not as well maintained as one would have hoped for. The staff was really friendly and added a higher level of professionalism that warranted the slightly expensive cost of the round. A bit on the expensive side it isnt somewhere I could play every weekend, but to treat yourself to a great round Renditions is highly recommended
good course
good course, well maintained. recommendable. will play again.
Amen Corner is the highlight of this average course...
Enjoyed our day at Renditions. Pace of play was great, no one behind or in front of us the entire round. The course was almost empty - don't know if this was due to a lack of public interest or just being early in the season. The course was in average overall condition - most notably, some of the traps needed attention. Amen Corner was the highlight of our round, especially Golden Bell - it was the best rendition on the course.
Will play again sometime, but Renditions is nowhere near the top of my list. If you're looking for beauty and pristine golf in the area, Lake Presidential is a must - what a gem. Rates are higher, but with a GolfNow discount, its worth every penny.
Interesting, fun course to play once or twice. Somewhat "gimmicky".
This is a fun course to play at least once. They do a good job re-creating famous holes, with Amen Corner being the most interesting. The course was in decent shape for early April, and the pace of play was a bit slow, but also what you would expect on the first 70 degree day since the fall. While the holes are interesting, some of the greens and pin placements seem artificially difficult, bordering on gimmicky. I'd play it again, but not often or too many more times.
always in good shape
great value for the money................................................
Great experience with a great golf now price
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and even though it snowed two days before the course was in very good condition.
nice course
conditions were getting better from the cold. some water hazards need work. teebox, fairways, and greens are well maintained.
Renditions delivered on a unique experience
I've been watching for price deals for some time on this course as it is over an hour drive for me. I played this weekend when apparently others felt it would rain and golfnow had a prepay deal I could not resist. Got to the course early and the parking lot was pretty empty. Staff in the pro shop and starter were great and asked if I would like to get out early playing with a staff member. I agreed and it was the right decision. Bernard was super friendly, took the time to share stories on each golf hole, helped find errant tee shots, and read a few putts to help out. We played in about 3 hours and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a draft beverage taking advantage of their 1 cent per stroke deal (first glass only) and a meal. Great time and I hope to return when the course is in its prime non-winter best! I would have loved to have been able to walk the course but the distance from several greens to tees does not make that possible. Many golfers were also very lazy about raking bunkers that day. Take the time folks!
Decent condition for March. The greens were in great shape.
Staff was very friendly. My favorite course in the area!
Course thyme is awsome
Have played here many time and as always the course was in great shape. The staff is very friendly. If you want a small tase of what you see on T.V. then I strongly recomend. The only complaint I could ever have is that in the 8 to 10 times I have played over the years it is always cart path only, so the on board GPS is useless.
Great shape for January in MD
Always fun to play a replica of Amen Corner. Not an every week type of course. Play can get slow on weekends

I experienced the same thing ;)
