Renditions Golf Course
About
Renditions Golf Course is a unique layout that features replicas of holes from U.S. Open or PGA Championship venues. Given each hole is modeled after holes from around the world, the course offers plenty of variety ranging from parkland to links. Holes six through nine are replicas of Augusta National's famous Amen Corner. Like their inspiration, Renditions' versions are a formidable test. The golf course offers a round unlike any other. Nowhere else would you be able to get a taste of golf's most well known courses all in one place. After several hundred trees were added to the landscape, which was formerly the site of a sand mining operation, it was completely transformed into the perfect setting for golf, enhanced even further by the Patuxent River that flows nearby.

Amazing
I'm a fairly new golfer and have been wanting to play Renditions. Absolutely worth the wait. The others in our foursome and myself have all agreed, we will be back in the spring and summer. We love it, don't change a thing.
this course always well maintained.
i would definitely recommend this course to everyone. great test of golf .
Great Grand Slam!
The course is in very good condition for this time of the year - a few rough spots here and there. But if you want to experience some of the most famous holes in golf, e.g., Amen Corner at the Masters, island green at TPC Sawgrass, and so on, it's really a great place to go. The rates are typically a bit high; however, one can get a good Hot Deal on GolfNow. You really should try it.
Great winter conditions
This course was in great condition for the month of December. Last winter it had the best conditions of any course in DC. Looks like they are spending the money to make it that way again. Great job guys!
The course was in good shape, even after considerable rain.
I have played Renditions on several occassions. It is one of my favorite courses. I like it because it is a fairly open course, has a variety of easy and challenging holes, and demands shot-making due to the placement of bunkers and hazards. Most of the greens are challenging.
On the day of play it had recently rained considerably, but the course was in good shape. The greens needed mowing and were a little bumpy - but it that time of the year.
Great conditions in December
Course was in great shape, eventhough it was cart path only still had a great time. Pace of play was great, staff was superfriendly and the value was Great $21.00 can't beat that at all! Fairways was wet but playable, greens were in awesome shape not really fast but not slow either (had to stay focus on your reads). Wish they (golf course) would offer deals like this throughout the year (spring/summer), would play there often...
For winter golf $72.00 is pricy and I notice the course is not getting alot of play....lower the price to complete with area golf courses
For Winter golf, I think it is a little pricey at $72.00 even with golf now discount. Course is in great shape for this time of year, greens were a little long, recent aerated dimples and not firm...This is not a $72.00 course. Blue Mash is in better shape and you pay the tempature.
The course has a great layout. It can be a challenge for every golfer.
The coure was in good condition, although the green have not fully recovered from aeration. Would definitely play it again.
Lack lof marshalls ruined a good golf day again!
Second time we had to wait at almost every t-box at Renditions due to lack of marshall's on the course. We like the course but it is extremely irritating when there's no marshall to keep the pace of play moving. We and the group in front of us called the pro-shop and were told all they could do was send a message to the slow group via their GPS system. That didn't work! We were the last group to put out on 18 before it became too dark. Several groups behind us gave up. They really need to fix this problem!
One-of-a-kind Layout
Where else could you go and play these replica holes all in one place? Good test of your golfing skills! Had a lot of fun! Will more than likely go back and play when the greens are rolling a little faster (they had been aerated recently) to get an even better experience.
Did they aerate too late?
Renditions is always fun to play. Replicas of some of the famous holes from around the world give it a little extra panache.
My favorite is on the front nine ( 4. I think) of a par 4 from Royal Lytham & St. Annes. You get a real feel for a links experience. Try to tee off a little left of the direction pole. You have more fairway there.
The only fly in the ointment was that on November 30th, past the growing season, the greens still have aerating marks on them. Same for the fairways. These won't heal until spring. I noticed a workman rolling the greens to help out on this. So the greens are smooth. It's just that the bumps do affect your putts.
The snack hut was closed, probably for the season, and there wasn't a beverage girl. Understandable since there were few players.
Good weather, great course, friendly foursome
Although the previous couple of days had been cold and windily, light winds and temps in the mid-50s encouraged me to take advantage of a GolfNow special at Renditions. I was matched with another single and a two some. We all enjoyed playing together on a challenging course, which was in excellent condition except for the greens that were were recovering from being aerated about 10 days earlier. And, the pace of play was great. I have played at this course several times since it first opened about 10 years ago, but it has been in the best shape ever this year. Every hole is unique and challenging since it replicates a signature hole from a famous course. I managed to par the "island green 13th hole," which certainly made my day.
Great course, wide open fairways!
Fairways are great. The rough a long the fairways are cut very low so it is easy to find balls. It is a beautiful course.
Amazing
I played this course on a Wednesday and even though there were other tee times around our 9:10, I rarely saw another group on the course. Conditions are great, I played with a friend who has played Sawgrass before and claimed that #13 was a spitting image of #17 at sawgrass. Course is pretty hard mostly because of the greens. Definitely worth the trip and the price.
Less than expected, recently punched greens, and slow pace
We spent Veterans day at Renditions and the experience was less than what they advertise. First, I received a voice mail from the course less than a day before our scheduled tee time to inform me that the greens had been punched a week prior. This was obviously an attempt to cover their back side and keep us from being very upset when we got to the first green. Since it was a prepaid tee time and the fact it was less that a day before our round we had no option to cancel and book elsewhere. From the discussions with the staff they had double booked some tee times. We were 25 minutes late getting off which wasn't a good start to our day. Play was a little slow and combined with starting late resulted in us not being able to complete our round before dark. I can recommend the course but don't expect a 5 star experience.
Pretty Course-very friendly staff
I've played Renditions quite a few times in last 2 months. Off the blues it's quite challenging with interesting risk/reward options for a mid handicapper -it's also very pretty-which I like.
The greens are pretty good but in past (not this time) naturally suffer if a society has gone out early-for some reason society players have problems repairing green pitch marks....
Only other gripe I have is that the very few courses advise you of aerated greens-Ithink there should be a discount or some sort of goodwill credit provided.
Staff are always super helpful & friendly at this course
Great Course for GOLFNOW price - dont pay more than $70
Great course, great staff and in good condition. It has alot of good holes that are very similar to the courses advertised - Augusta or St Andrews. The only draw back was the pace of play, there was a tournament on the day we booked that was not listed online and the starter "squeaked" us in between a the group of hackers that were tearing up the course. The greens are decent but too furry to be considered PGA style.
Great course for great price
Great deal from golf now - paid 35 + processing fee so well worth the trip. Play this course only once per year, and this year the course was in conditions expected for high end priced course. From tee box to green course in excellent shape - recommend play for anyone if you can get discounted green fees.
Loved the signature holes of the great courses
Really enjoyed the course. Par 4s were a bit long on some of the holes which made it challenging. If I had to knit pick a bit, there were no refreshment carts, and although you pass the refreshment shack a couple times, it was not often enough for cold refreshments. Overall great experience and the Golfnow price was exceptional. Thanks.
Great day of golf.
A scheduled morning golf outing from work was cancelled due to rain, and I made a tee time online at a super price for 2:20 in the afternoon. It rained up to 2:00, and the course was deserted, except for myself and a threesome that I went through on the 13th hole. It was a rare treat to play a super course at my own pace, all by myself.
