Renditions Golf Course is a unique layout that features replicas of holes from U.S. Open or PGA Championship venues. Given each hole is modeled after holes from around the world, the course offers plenty of variety ranging from parkland to links. Holes six through nine are replicas of Augusta National's famous Amen Corner. Like their inspiration, Renditions' versions are a formidable test. The golf course offers a round unlike any other. Nowhere else would you be able to get a taste of golf's most well known courses all in one place. After several hundred trees were added to the landscape, which was formerly the site of a sand mining operation, it was completely transformed into the perfect setting for golf, enhanced even further by the Patuxent River that flows nearby.

Played Renditions on 9/22/12 and our foursome enjoyed the experience. The pace of play was somewhat slow.

The course was in good condition and the starter was extremely friendly. Pace of play was somewhat slow as we played behind two sets of of twosomes. Only saw a ranger once (I believe 6th hole). Got a great price from Golfnow, however for the regular price, there should be complimentary range balls. Instead of waiting for the tee to clear, hitting a few range balls would be nice. For the right price, we plan to return. Overall, our foursome enjoyed the course and we even recognized several of the replica holes.

The course does fairly well at recreating , so hard when the area conditions dictate what you can grow.

I have always enjoyed this course, This time I was disappointed with the conditions and pace of play, The greens were not cut and maintained to their usual condition , I do realize that it was around noon when we teed off, but I do play at tournament level on a regular basis and can tell when they have not been cut..
The staff as always are extremely friendly and helpful, attending to all of your needs, one of the best in the area, Did not see a Marshall all afternoon, might have made a difference in the pace of play, even though some people have no clue how to rake raps and fix ball marks if he was out there, it sometimes would at least make them think about it.
All and all it is still one of the better places in the area to play, Billy and his staff do a stand out job and he should be proud of them..

Good experience at Renditions

Played Renditions with a friend in late July, 2012. The course was very wet after heavy rains the night before, which meant carts on path only, detracting a little from the experience. Wet conditions made course play much longer than I remember from previous trips there.

Still, the layout is top notch, with the added benefit of historical golf venues. The individual holes aren't exact replicas of their more famous counterparts, but are similar.

The conditions of tees, fairways and greens were good. Most of the greens have a lot of slope which makes for interesting putts and chips if you're in the wrong place. But, that's what makes this course fun - you get the challenge of making shots you don't experience every day.

Overall value is good. Food and drink afterwards also good.

Always a challenge, depending on wind and pin placements

Very enjoyable round, although a bit slow and un-marshalled. Staff was friendly and helpful. A must play (at least once) if in the area. Played when first opened in 2002 (in fact, scored first recorded ace on "Augusta 12") and was anxious to return to see how much course had changed. Very little change..fairways and greens still in excellent shape, rough still very penal.
