Bent Tree Country Club

I have played this course before. Over the summer they took good care of the fairways and greens. The bunkers would need some attention. Staff, as usual, very friendly. Overall I was very pleased with my round.

Classic layout, fairways struggling, greens good, bunkers being reclaimed by nature.

This could be a nice course need a little more maintenance. How hard is it to clean out the bunkers I mean, the bunkers were full of grass. Greens was great. Front nine and back nine was totally different.

In good shape, played fast….will try to set up our playing late fall and winter !!!!

The sand traps had almost no sand. They were filled with weeds. The fairways were decent and the greens were good. The staff was very friendly.

Perfect day. Arrived 11:15 am on a Tuesday. Maybe 8 cars in the parking lot. 18 in under 3 hours. Although the original layout was better, it is still fun. It's being run on a shoestring budget. The club house has been closed for years and there are some maintenance issues, but the tee boxes are ok, the fairways are mostly ok and the rough is mowed. The best part is the greens are actually pretty good. The few staff that are there are always great. No cart girl that day but that will change in season.

1. Club house staff was super nice.

2. Course had almost nobody playing at 8 AM.

3. Course turf was been cut while we played and the most all the greens were in good shape.

4. Several trees down across cart paths that should be cleared.

5. No restaurant open as it was tour down from previous storms

—I’ve played this course for 30 years and while the course was in fair to good shape, the oversight of trees being down, poor cart paths and no restaurant keeps us away.

Always a pleasure playing bent tree. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is laid back. My kind of golf. Definitely recommend.

Good and fun course. It does not have the 19th hole options since it is now basically another golf course versus a community country club. The greens are getting in need of some repair, but we are down a lot on rain.

straight fairways - slices hurt here. Overall great play all around

After my shoulder surgery in early May, I came here to try out my "new" shoulder. I usually play in the Bradenton/Parrish area. I met a friend here from Englewood. We like this course a lot! Especially how crowded it wasn't. The course is in great shape after finally getting our much-needed rain. The greens were, for the most part, in great shape, except for a few spots. I'll be coming back.

I met a friend here to play, as I haven't played since April. Shoulder replacement surgery. Our first time here was a great time. This course is outstanding with moderate challenges and nice scenery. I usually play in the Bradenton/Parrish area, but this course is worth the drive. There are some bald spots on some greens, but who doesn't have them in Florida?

I'll be back for sure.
