Bent Tree Country Club

I know how tough it is to survive in todays business world , between tax’s and insurance, and labor and the abundance of expenses. Played a couple times recently and enjoyed , but as all courses there’s always room to improve, and some are simple which mean a lot to your patrons thanks for a great team

It’s a shame such a beautiful golf course not your typical FLA layout, but the lack of maintenance money is taking a toll. The tee boxes are pretty brown …one hole had a mat poured in concrete.

The pace of play was ridiculous 245 on the front. The group in front of us had two holes open in front of them. No one from the club seemed to care..

What a difference Terence from 3-4 years ago! Nice conditions, well maintained very enjoyable round. Maybe they will earn enough this year to remove the tree stumps on the course soon. I’m impressed with the positive changes so far!

My dad and I played here 8 years ago and loved it. He passed away 7 years ago so I thought it would be nice to play it, in his memory, with a friend. It was a great time;great group, and great golf!

Played Monday it took 5 hours 15 minutes. I gave it a very poor rating.

Today it took 4 hours and 10 minutes

which is acceptable this time of year.

My rating is “good”.

Picked up a 4th at the course who had the same skill level as us and made for an enjoyable round at a nice course

We got off on our scheduled tee time with no wait for cart use. Staff was attentive and organized. Par 3 on number 15 was a bit tricky being very short in distance. All other holes were fun and at times challenging. Fun 18 holes with a joined twosome to compliment our tee time as a foursome.

The course was in great shape and really has improved nicely. The course is in the best shape I have seen if in many years. A great course for the money!

The course was in reasonable shape, no complaints there or with the staff. I have played this course 50+ times.

The problem was it took 5 hours 15 minutes to play the round, we started 15 minutes(12:05pm) late because of the back up which was acceptable in March.

However

5 hour 15 minutes rounds are unacceptable---we never saw a ranger once.

Starting on the second hole we caught up with the group in front of us waiting to tee off, needless to say the group behind us reached the second tee before we could tee off ---so it went on holes 2 through 9.

Thinking the back nine might be better we headed to the tenth tee only to find TWO groups waiting to tee off!

NO ranger---frankly not sure what a ranger could do.

My last time on this course (3-6-2024) we played in 4 hours 40 minutes.
