Course renovation: Misty Creek Country Club underwent a comprehensive golf course renovation, which included re-grassing all areas, rebuilding bunkers, upgrading the driving range, and installing a new irrigation system. The course was temporarily closed for these improvements and reopened to the public in November 2025.
I Recommend This Course
An enjoyable course to play!
Great staff, a couple of narrow-ish fairways, beautiful setting. Starter was a bit over-zealous ("you're more than half a hole behind... If you stay that way for 3 more holes you'll have to skip a hole and come back to it later."), which was totally unnecessary, as we waited for 7 holes for them to tee off. But it was one of the prettier courses we played in the area, and the racoons are unbelievably tame!

Needs GPS
A nice layout, but with doglegs and numerous traps and water hazards, they need to have GPS. Not even a decent map of the holes, so you are playing blind. For the money this should be a given.

Challenging course with some interesting holes. Greens are in great shape. Very nice course but completely overpriced at $100+. It is nice course but it is not a $100+ course.

Good weather, good course, just needed to see a ranger do his job. The group 2 groups ahead thought they were in final round of US Open.

Water is out there, but doesn't come into play too ofter. Course in nice shape. The greens fees are pretty high for what you get. Lower price courses are around the area, for the same course conditions.
