Course was in good shape, Played as a single behind a group of 5, so seemed slow, but finished within 4.5 hrs..

Best course around for the money. Not many houses on course

The course was nice and the layout was also challenging, but some hole diagrams would have been nice. Play with someone who really knows the course. Fairways and greens were nice and the greens rolled well. But miss a fairway by just a few yards and there was either no rough or just dirt. Several dog legs force hitting irons off tees, which is fine on a couple holes, but had to keep the driver in the bag most of the day. Overall a nice course but not sure it's worth $100 a round. Practice facilities need work, driving range was average at best - not much grass on tee box.

We have adopted Misty Creek as our favorite course in the Venice / Sarasota area. 'Nuff said.

Misty Creek has one of the most interesting layouts of the semi-private courses in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. The course has many holes where no homes can be seen, unique for an area where "developers" courses are prevalent. No 2 holes are the same and the variety of pars 3, 4 and 5 are great. The course has been over seeded for the winter and the grass has come in well. The greens are also putting true. One criticism is the fact that the trees are quite overgrown on some holes, making for extremely tight fairways leaving no room for error. The course would be greatly improved if some tree removal/trimming was done to make those holes less penal and the course more playable (aka FUN).

Great course. Only problem is that it is too far from where we live.

We love this golf course. The layout and natural environment are outstanding. Each hole has a special character. It's almost like seeing old friends each time we play.

This is a great track, fairways and greens were soft and very lush for FL. The greens and fairways were in great shape and were probably a 9 on the meter. All of the Staff were nice people and we did not run into any issues with anyone else. I got a fabulous Hot Deal to give it a try so I did and was very happy that I did so. The only down side was the trails are not paved so it gets a little dusty if you are following another cart, no big deal.

Certainly will return to work on course management.

A lot to like about MC. An attendant met me at my car and dropped off my cart. Extensive practice facility. Teed off at #1 before our scheduled tee time. Course was in great shape. Played the round in 4 hours. What’s not to like?
