Misty Creek Country Club

We really enjoyed Misty Creek. The layout was really well done, weaving through the country side. Loved the nature, the trees and wildlife. This is not an easy course, but it's worth the effort braving the twists and turns, the doglegs and the lakes. The amenities are average to slightly above. And they need to repaint the tees and make sure they are set on every hole. We had trouble finding the forward tees more than once. It's a minor quibble because the course itself is really something worth experiencing. Thank you!

Staff were pleasant when checking in and pace of play was as expected. Greens are in great shape and roll true. Saw deer, gators, and my first bob cat . Like the course layout and all the nature in the area. Highly recommend

Fairways were not in the best shape. On most holes the grass needed to be cut.

Son & I teed off at 2pm, finished at 5:30.

Greens we’re fast and true

Overall good experience. It was cart path only due to overseeding which I am fine with just wish I knew about it ahead of time. Pace of play outstanding..played in 3 1/2 hours. Greens in great shape and fast. Fairways need work, lots of weeds. 70 bucks is steep for the condition it is in but if they clean up the fairways the layout is nice and might be worth the price. I would give it another try next time we are in the area.

Great layout. Lots of doglegs through the forest. Wildlife everywhere in this Nature Preserve.

Greens and fairways were in good shape, tees a little rough. We were a twosome but the starter paired us up anyway with no one in front of us or behind us. They were very slow so a Men's league caught us and made us sit out while their three groups played through. Five 1/2 hours to play a round. Otherwise, good value and fun course.

Second time playing on this course on this trip as it’s in such great condition.

Greens are superb

Tricky layout which we liked as it’s not a simple stand up and hit it layout : you have to think about each hole. Dont hit driver off every par 4 or 5.

Lots of wildlife.

Only downside is the members they hassle you to play through. Club needs to have a word with them about visitors. Else don’t invite visitors to come. It’s the only negative aspect of this course and why I marked it down. It happened 2 days in a row. We are not slow golfers. We played in 4 hours with cart path only. Be more welcoming !

Come to Florida every year for Thanksgiving and have played Misty Creek before but don’t remember it being this good.

They had overseeded so cart path only but this was no issue.

They need to get their members under control if they are inviting visitors. Green fees were in line with condition of course and amenities but I lowered it due to member behavior. During this round 2 of them cut in front of us as we were just getting to the tee on the 11th hole

Overall highly recommend the course but beware of the members

The course is set in a nature preserve. Lots of wildlife and old Florida trees.

It's a challenging course but the long ball and the shot makers will find it has something for everyone!

this is my first review of a golf course ever. i take ny time and dont play fast. i also understand things are going to be slower on a weekend however this was ridiculous. it had a cool lay out but the short 90 degree dog legs got old quick. ranger dodged us the whole day allowing a senor group of 5 play in front of us because they were members. there are sooooo many way better courses close by for same or less money. Ruined my saturday.

Although my game is not where it should be, the course and experience playing Misty was over the top great. I would go back, great value, scenery, wooded, greens in top shape, hot dog and beer great. This course is in my top 10, including well known venues (Torrey Pines, Spanish Bay, Trump in Paloes Verde, Harbourtown, Doral etc)
