Shalimar Pointe Golf Club

Everyone was very friendly but we all agreed that If it were the last course on earth we would quit golf. Greens were horrible. Fairways had varying degrees of grass dirt and gravel and tee boxes were very unlevel. I feel sorry for the staff because I’m sure they are limited by funds but we were very disappointed

I will not be back to this course. The conditions of the golf course were not good. The greens were the worst I’ve ever played on.

Of all the courses in the area, this course has a fabulous design. Each hole has its own character. Greens had been recently sanded so they were fast. Fairways will be greener as the weather warms

Very disappointed with the conditions of the greens. They were obviously in transition from winter to summer but I would have thought that information would be provided during the booking.

About as much sand as grass on holes.

If looking for average course and trying to save money, this is the place.

Course layout good mix of challenging, moderate and easy holes. 4 choices of tee blocks. Greens are in poor condition, lots of mildew areas coated with green coating to disguise. Pace of play is good EXCEPT early morning. They allow a group of 5 members to play together. They are very slow and show no concern about pace of play with guests behind them. Over the past 2 months, have been stuck behind this group 3 times. As a result, I have played other courses in the area with early AM tee times. This takes away any enjoyment of play.

The course was not in great shape. Greens were an absolute disaster. There are many golf courses in the area that I would rather play for the amount a round costs here.

Played a foggy round but managed to get it in before the thick stuff came in. Course was in good shape.

The staff was very helpful especially to one of our foursome that had not played before.

Golf course is user friendly, was in decent winter condition and is worth while playing. We encountered slow play, but thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

the course layout is great with lots of different holes to challenge your game - play your right yardage and you should like it. staff was very friendly and welcoming. it was 'winter' so the course showed some thin spots, but tees were good and greens were certainly puttable. as a Snowbird staying in Miramar Beach, I would come more often if not for the distance. I do plan to play Shalimar again !

Whole front waited on a single waiting on 3 - 5somes. Went to front 9 again after turn. Assistant Super said my son and I should join 1 some, who never wanted us to join him, and play would get better. He said 2 singles and a foursome just teed off front. Told him no thanks. Never caught anyone and played front in 1 hour and 4 minutes as opposed to 2 hrs 15 behind the fivesomes. Would like to thank him for his honesty!!!!!!. My BS meter was right again. He just wanted to start watering, which he did anyway. Never again will this extremely out of shape course see me.

32 Degrees when my gf and I arrived . The very friendly young lady had fresh brewed coffee ready and waiting . I checked both my gf and myself in and it went seamlessly with a friendly man getting the check in done promptly and courteously. I’m from TN and we don’t have the sand that Florida has so we have a lot more grass . The course was generally in fine shape and we enjoyed playing it and we will again soon.

This course is challenging fairways narrow playing in between homes one of my favorite courses
