Seven Hills Golfers Club
About
Seven Hills Golfers Club in Spring Hill is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, a relatively secluded location that makes this course a hidden gem. Locals know that the course is one of the best golf values in the area. The links-style layout has appeal for players of any skill level. There are interesting risk-reward opportunities throughout and the fairways are wide and player friendly. The golf course has a few lengthy and narrow holes, which makes it play longer than what's indicated on the scorecard. The layout's par 3s are particularly challenging. In addition to some tricky doglegs, you'll encounter strategically placed bunkers guarding both the greensides and fairways. Your accuracy will be put to the test throughout Seven Hills Golfers Club but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

This course needs a major overhaul.
While the layout is fine, the course itself is in bad shape. The cart paths are deplorable and need to be replaced. I saw no evidence of sprinklers on the fairways which was dry and sparsely covered with grass. The greens were ok but inconsistent.
Nice track
New management are doing a great job. From what I’ve been told it’s come a long way.
Great shape, challenging, fun. Staff are very friendly. Hope to play it often.
Improvements noticed
Hadn't played here in a year, and was hoping that the upward trends I had been reading in the reviews were accurate. Got a great Hot Deal and took a chance. 38 miles from home, and was definitely satisfied with the improvements. Still work to be done, but from the bad shape it was in (including the Pro Shop Staff) to where it is now is worth commenting on. Not PGA ready, but the efforts towards bringing the course back to good playing shape was definitely noticed by me and the local gentleman that I had the pleasure of being matched with. I will be back.
Never go there again
This is a true review. The fairways are bad, have to move ball off to grass The rough is sand--awful. Layout is nice tho. My team went there last year, and was told there are going to fix the corse--never did anything. Now, new owners, as I called to ask about the conditions, said the corse was in good condition---wrong & misleading. He also said he will repair--nothing againg. Don't waste your time there--go elsewhere'

Course was reasonably busy. Which is why pace of play was rated low. Also I was a single amongst foursomes. Overall very nice greens were in decent shape. Fairways did need some work ! It was a good l layout with a little grooming it could especially nice course!!!
Five and a half hours is way to long of a round. Marshal was less than helpful, down right rude and wrong.
I had great hopes when we arrived. The clubhouse was nice, the pro shop was even better. The putting area was promising. Then the bad stuff started happening. We had 12 43 tee time and had to wait until 1 10 to get started. The tee box was bits of grass among a lot of dirt. The fairways were no better, islands of Bermuda grass in a sea of dirt and sand. The bunkers were not maintained, foot prints and the like. They look like they hadnt been raked in a month. We were keeping pace with the three sum in front of us but the back up on the coarse started on the 3rd hole. Mind you there were 4 of us. So we're settling in our rounds and on the 6th hole the marshal comes up and tells us we have to pick up the pace. Wha? I wondered if he was suggesting we play through the group a head of us? I try not to let things like that affect my game but the double and triple bogey I shot the next two holes were evidence that I need to work on that some more. At several points in the round we had three groups on a hole. The greens were good, i will give them that, the only part that was decent. We will not be back any time soon.
needs more help
There is more grass on the tee boxes than the last time I played this course and the greens were putting much better ( faster than in years past) but there wasn't much grass on the fairways. The clubhouse hasn't changed, the men's bathroom still stinks and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. I like the layout and the course has potential so will play it again someday.
can you say slow?
Greens are pretty good-Tee boxes are about worn out.
Fairwars could use some grass and water.
lots of un-tended bunkers.Senior couple in front of us and another 2 some in front of them were held up by extremely slow and bad foursome. Needed a ranger.
Passing Through
Was a good round on a decent course, found it as was on drive home from the North for a ‘stopover’. The greens were in very good condition while the fairways pretty torn up. The layout was super interesting with many dog legs and lots of elevation for Florida!
Played before 8am on Saturday morning, round began with us being stuck behind a 3some that was late, and having to wait for the last player to get to the tee box. We were stuck behind them to whole round, and never once saw a ranger). Greens/tee boxes were in the best shape in years, fairways are a running joke with most locals, they need alot of work as multiple ones had large bare spots and others were patchy at best. Not alot of fun to have to try to find a patch of weeds to hit a shot off instead of a patch of wet mud.
This course is getting better
Winter time golf at its best. Greens are in great shape. Fairways need a little more time for new seed to grab ahold.
bew owners
course is a fun layout- short par 3's-- some long par 4's
gteensokay - fairways need some love and grass. tees show constant use= could be expanded in lots of places. price is okay if you get any discount- rack rate can be beat - played here for 11 years thru several management teams- the new ones will need some time to improve the course.
Greatly improved
Grass in fairways, greens well manicured. Big difference in 3 months, definitely moving in the right direction.
