Sandy greens
Springfield needs to notify GN users that they just Aerated there Greens with Big holes and a lot of Top Sand. There is simply to many great courses to play that have Awesome greens. I have a GHIN Tournament on Sat and I chose Springfield as my practice round! Tee boxes and Fairways are in great shape.
Being Deceitful about there Greens is unacceptably so I will not be playing this course in the near Future.
Thank you for the feedback! We actually did notify our golfers of our intent to aerify. We have aerification notices on all online tee times on GolfNow, the website booking engine has an aerification notice included as well as aerification icons, our Facebook page has several posts announcing our intent to aerify and we sent multiple emails out to our golfers. Also, it is our understanding that the GolfNow Member Care team did send you an email informing you that Springfield would be under aeration conditions. There was certainly no deceit intended, as communication with our golfers is our top priority.

Best Public Course in the Area
Springfield is a great test of golf. Good shots are rewarded and poor shots are compounded, A fair but difficult course in great condition. Best track in the area.

In fantastic shape.
Springfield was built before any housing was developed and when the development happened it was kept back from the fairways. It is still a great escape, each hole its own place. The greens and fairways are in excellent shape this year, the new greens keeper and work in 2019 have really paid off. Any tee is a great choice and will make you think about club choices. Play the one that works for you.

36 Sand Shots in One Round???
Aerated yesterday so the greens are basically flat sand traps. I just counted them all as automatic 2-putts.

Awesome Condition
This was my first time playing Springfield in about 12 months and the course was in great shape considering the amount of play it gets. Greens were quick and true, fairways in great shape. Challenging course with lots of fun holes. The staff are fantastic!
