Springfield Golf Club

Probably partly my fault, but i secured tee times for two recent outings at Springfield Golf in Chandler, AZ, so with this current reservation, for some reason, the booking mechanism defaulted to South Carolina.

Unfortunately, the drive from AZ, to SC, is a little over 2000 miles (30 hours straight driving), so i missed my tee time.

Sorry for the low star ratings, but it was required, for this submission.

The staff at Springfield is very friendly and accommodating. I golfed on a busy President's Day with a tournament going on and they were more than happy to find us a tee time. Great and challenging course, great grass for February. Only complaints were underpowered carts and somebody on our tail because there wasn't much time and a lot of people. Overall great course and I will definitely be back again!

This is a very challenging course for any level of golfer but every hole is distinct.

Springfield is a great course that will test your skills in shot making. Holes # 7, 8 & 9 are very challenging and if you can par these three holes you will have an excellent score on the front. I do not recommend walking unless you are in great shape. Long distance between greens and the next tee box especially in the front nine. Great staff and the pro Aaron Black is very welcoming and knowledgeable. I highly recommend playing this course.

Need a ranger to monitor slow play had to skip holes to avoid a five hour round

Despite recent rainfall, the course was in good shape. Loved the painted fairways as it creates much better sight lines than the dormant grass. Greens were receptive and rolled true throughout the round. The staff was great as always! Played 18 in 3.5 hours.

The course was in great shape despite the weather. The rain has really hit us hard but Springfield continues to impress. I swear I think I even saw a penguin and alligator in the pond on number 5. Amazing staff and awesome practice green. You can’t go wrong. Crazy wild life and great greens. Don’t miss this gem.

The course has an amazing layout. There is alot of blind shots. Shot placement is important. The course was still very wet but not bad for the amount of rainy days we've had recently. I was placed with a 3some but the didnt even acknowledge me on the first tee so... other than that it was avery nice day golfing. I will be going back. Cant wait to see it in april

The round was slow because the people in front of wouldn't let us pass.

The guys I played with were the best

Got behind a slow group and they didn't let me pass, Played with a three some that caught up to me. I hate groups of Golfers that play slow and don't let you pass. If you want to play slow let everyone by.

One of the toughest public courses in the Ft. Mill- Charlotte area. Longer than most courses in the area and each hole is unpredictable.No hole mirrors the other. Long drivers are not necessarily at any significant advantage on this course. Fairways are undulating in some cases so ball placement is critical on this course.

All the grass was dormant and there were leaves on the fairways - nearly impossible to find your ball unless using a bright color. The greens were extremely fast and hard. Disappointed for the price I paid.

Fun course played in 3 hours because of no traffic. Very wet on some holes especially 10

Excellent Golf course. Challenging from tee to green. The staff is great and very helpful. I’ve been playing here for years and this is by far the best course in the area.
