Staff is kind and helpful. Jim, Pavel, Aaron, & Fred, are always friendly and genuinely seem like they care about course conditions be it grass to green; all the way to pace of play.

This course can be extremely tough from the tips. # 5, 7, 8 , 9, & 17 can play to be some of the toughest public course holes in the greater Charlotte area.

The always friendly Pavel checked me in, and club pro Aaron Black gave me a few great pre round pointers. The course showed good drainage with the recent rain, and the greens were in fine shape. Always a tough track, but beautiful in fall foliage! Can’t wait to play again.

Course in good condition for November, nice layout, unfortunately, played here several times and overpriced. Would play more often if in line with other local courses.

I am a member here at Springfield for the past couple of years. With the current work going on through the course and with the very friendly staff, this place is getting better every day!!!!

Course starting to show annual sad signs of end of golf year.

Should have another month before my clubs hibernate with the Bermuda grass.

My friend and I played Springfield GC for the first time yesterday and we were delighted with our experience. A cloudy Tuesday so the course was not busy. We played in 4 hours but we were in no hurry and even stopped for an awesome chili dog after nine holes.

Although the greens had been recently dressed with fine sand, it didn't seem to adversely affect our play. The layout is tight and demanding but the golfer's aid card described helpful tips and strategies to navigate the course.

The course conditions were perfect in the fairway and around the greens. Any ball off the fairway was often in deep trouble. Some areas were designated environmental areas where golfers were prohibited, with good reason.

Springfield touts great electric carts, plenty of on-course water coolers, ballwashers on every hole, yardage plaques on the tees.Use the extra key that comes with your cart to gain access to the pristine restrooms on the course.

We can't wait to play Springfield again soon.

Given the recent rains, the course was a bit soggy and the fairways a touch shaggy. Tees overall were not in great shape with several of them closed on the front 9 (those looked great). Greens were consistent but.a touch slow and rolled quite nicely. Lots of breaks, subtle and otherwise, as numerous greens featured plateaus and sharp ridges. Grain was fairly strong as well.

Front nine is the more challenging side with several holes requiring forced carries on approach shots. More elevated greens than not. Course provided playing instructions for each hole which was a nice touch.

I have played this course since it originally opened 19 years ago. To this day it still challenges me every time I play it.

When you play Springfield you must bring your total game, there in no slacking off. Fairways are generous but the green complexes are the big challenge. Short game and putting are critical. I have 3 rules in playing this course.

I play this club on most Mondays. Some what hilly with nice greens. Good driving range but lacks good sand practice area. Not a walkers course but some people do.

A hidden gem of a course. It is fair yet challenging with elevation changes and some forced carries. Greens are tricky and the pins can be placed in some difficult spots.

Hope that the person who does the pins had a good evening and is happy to be at work.

Knowing this course will definitely help you score better, albeit still a tough course. These greens are some of the more difficult I have played, lots of undulation, very slick and some tough pin locations. This track is not very forgiving of errant shots either. Mostly lined by wooded, craggy and often not clearly marked as to whether it is a penalty area. It was a bit of a drive for me (Cola) but will return for the challenge of playing the course better. Better than average course and conditions.

Absolutely fantastic course. Very nice layout well maintained. There is nothing to complain about. Would definitely play it again.

The greens were quick and rolled really well, but you definitely need to be below the hole. They had a couple of holes where the pins were absurdly placed to the point where no one was getting near the pin.

They have a few tee boxes that are in pretty rough shape, but I will take nice greens over nice tee boxes any day.

Overall, one of my favorite layouts to play around Charlotte.

The greens are very good. Fairways and rough in good condition. Some of the iron approach shots are challenging. Would like to play this course on a regular basis.
