Lake/Palms courses. 12:00 Tee time w/ son. Great hot deal price. This course has 3 nine hole courses. Lynx style course in subdivision setting, Not pristine but well maintained. Fun layout. Tee boxes, fairways, & roughs in good shape. Weeds visible but is plush. Wide landing areas for tee shots. Greens plush, medium pace. Had recently been aerated. Free Range balls provided. Nice practice area. Will definitely play again definitely.
Nice course at a great value!
Played as a twosome and finished in less than 3 hours. Greens were in nice shape, tee boxes were good, but some of the fairway and rough could use improvements. The staff is very friendly and my $24 round included free range balls. Course is not overly hard and plays fairly short, but has some small greens and nice bunkering.
Fairways and greens were in good shape. Several green flags were broken on the bottom damaging the holes.
My wife and I enjoyed playing at the Sandpiper Golf Club in Sun City, Florida. We were paired with a snowbird gentleman who had only played at the Sandpiper one time before. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition and the December weather was a comfortable 76 degrees, but a bit windy. All three of us played without any serious waiting, felt the course was not too difficult and finished with the thought of returning to Sandpiper soon for another round.
This course offers three different 9 hole courses each offering different layouts.
The greens are in great condition. The course also offers free driving range balls and attentive staff.
Wonderful day of golf
Course is in fantastic shape. All greens cut exactly the same, making them true to read. Very scenic with lots of water, but not much in play. Good amount of bunkers that are well kept. All staff was friendly and helpful. Food is fresh and delicious and priced very nicely. Lots of older golfers, but rangers keep play moving along. Just a great course to play and enjoy.
good course
great course for the money and in good shape //////////////////////////
Great Golf Course, well-maintained
Always in great shape, well-manicured fairways, bunkers and greens, even the rough. Three nines. Wide fairways. Friendly staff. Well-stocked pro shop and full restaurant. One of the few courses with free range balls. Downside: always crowded until after 12. Many senior golfers, who don't let fast players through. Unsightly to see so many hot rod custom golf carts.
Nice day of golf!
This used to be private, so we never have had the opportunity to play it in the past. I look forward to playing it again. After losing a dozen golf balls at Waterlefe the day before, it was nice to play a course without water coming into play on every hole!
Excellent golf course
The course has 3 nine holes. The lakes ,the oaks and the palms
I played the palms and the lakes. They are in excellent condition.
The greens are slow 6 on the stemp. But free range balls
Good but very slow greens. 6 at the most. Free range balls
Very nicely maintained
I was very pleased with the golf course and conditions
Love the course
Greens slow , but obviously undergoing winter maintainence. Will be great when they grow out and can be cut close. Like the course though.
ccourse is everything a golfer is wanting, and more
great conditions and best greens in county.bring your best game cause youll need it..enjoy
Great condition
Well taken care of. Will play as many times as I can. Friendly staff, knowledgable of the current conditions.
Forgiving course
27-hole complex. Oaks and Palms are the two best nine, in my opinion. Lakes less appealing due to layout of a couple of holes. Good practice areas (range/practice greens). Starters at the course are very helpful/cordial. Smaller greens compared to area courses, most greens surrounded by sand traps. Water, ponds along most holes, but really don't come into play unless your shots are completely off track. Single-digit HCPers should use blue tees as the courses are relatively short, especially the par 5s.
Great course.
With 27 holes each 9 has its own challenges, have place several times in the past 5 weeks. Each time a great round.
Three 9's are fun
Your daily fee gets you your choice of two of the three 9 hole tracks. I thought it was all three 9 hole tracks but I was promptly reminded that you only get 18 when i attempted to tee off of #19!
This is a pretty basic course, in basic condition. Lots of open holes which makes the course play more on the easy side. the nicest feature about this place is that you get unlimited range balls (included) with your daily fee. when you go out to the range, the balls are already stacked in pyramids which is pretty cool and has you feeling like a tour player. What is not pretty cool is that the range balls are old, and harder than top rocks. The range is in pretty patchy condition at best.
Overall i would play here again when the wallet is tight. If you have a couple extra dollars, there are much better places to play. another great "feature" of this course is that most of the play on this course is in the mornings. After noon, there is not a soul out here, common theme with many courses in the greater Sun City area, so pace of play is brisk and unrushed. Great to take your kids and new golfers. You can easily play in under 4 hours with a motivated foursome.
Great courses, friendly staff. WELL KEPT!!
Will go back in a heartbeat...Great value for money with three well maintained courses to choose from. Greens and fairways are in excellent condition. No bare spots or crab grass and ugly weeds in the fairways, Sweet!! Although, still a variety of hazards and challenges to deal with...
Great Course, all inclusive!
This course is a great intermediate course. It has some water, sand and elevated greens. There are 3 different 9 hole courses and the start selects or you can request 2 of the 3. Your greens fees also include your driving range balls. You just take your cart to the range and they are stacked up there just like on tour, a great experience over all. I paid 9$ for 18 holes.
Great value
For the money good course. Range balls included with golf. Sand traps in bad shape have not been raked in a while. Good lay out with some water, fairway bunkers to make it challenging. Greens in good shape. Most holes have wide fairways. Good course to work the rust out of your game coming from snow state.
