Sandpiper Golf Club - Oaks/Lakes Course

One of my favorite local courses to play. I like the layout. You have the ability to play either of the three 9 hole layouts. Allowing you to take your time and enjoy your round. Watch the water hazards though.....there be some alligators to greet you.

First time playing here. Liked the lay out. course was is good conditions. Greens are small just made it more challenging. For the long hitters alot of fairway bunkers come into play. Free Range balls. Will play again

Have played sandpiper many time. In most cases, course is in decent shape. Was surprised when I got to course, that all the greens had been punched and sanded. Really should have posted on golfnow. Would not have played there if I new in advance.

Great course - Had a lot of fun. Lots of sand - Hope you like a day at the beach!

It is a great course for beginners and intermediate players. It has challenges, but is not what I would call a tough course to play. All in all it was a fun and enjoyable round of golf.

No matter how you hit the ball, you will get an opportunity to use every club in your bag on this course. Some fairways are narrow, some dogleg, some are uphill. Some of the parr threes are long and you might have to use a wood or hi-bred if you're not a long hitter. Some greens are very fast while others putt quite a bit slower.

The ranger was great, very friendly. The course was very nice with fairways needing some work and greens in excellent condition.

We played the Lake and Palms nine hole courses. The lake course is very nice but the Palms needed maintenance (especially the fairways).
We have played better courses for this price level.

We had a good round of golf yesterday.
Fairways were good, the rough had some weeds in the rough. I have played there many times and feel it is a good test, requiring target golf on some holes.
Greens were in good shape overall.

The course was well maintained with wide fairways, little rough and good water hazards. The time of day was a key factor ; after noon was good for the pace of play.

The course is in okay condition but served as a great warm up for me for the later round at Club Renaissance.

The course was in good shape; maintained fairways and greens. The greens were on the small side, providing a nice challenge. The traps overall had were your typical hard sand, some like concrete.

The staff in the pro shop and Bunkers were helpful and friendly. The same cannot be said about the starter. This was my 3rd time playing Sandpiper, and he still acts rude and like he doesn't want to be there. I heard several others making similar comments. I had to ask him with course we would be on at the turn and it was like I awoke him from a 3 day bender. I understand he's a busy man, but he's paid to provide a service.

Overall, good place for the price. Pace of play was a nonissue, facility was clean and the course was moderately challenging. Easy to book tee times online.

We try to book this course often if we can get a fair price. Beautiful & close to home. Great restaurant & fair prices on food & drinks.

The layout of the course was nice. Checkin was slow show up 45 min early or run the risk of being late...really enjoyed the course

Although the day was windy the course is in great shape.

Got a hotdeal off golfnow and wouldn't play this course again unless it's another hotdeal. They're asking price is high for what you get @ normal rate. Rennaisance up the road is way better for comparable money on a hotdeal.

Played 18 on a gorgeous day! Would recommend for all to try this course.

Of course my score was too high, but overall it was an great afternoon with friends. Our cart broke down.

This was a good course. The day was extremely windy and cool, didn't get to play as long as I would have liked to play due to foul weather conditions.
