The Hooch Golf Club sits along the Chattahoochee River in Duluth, sprawling across a scenic landscape covered with ponds and lakes. The course is an executive, par-61 layout that combines traditional features with modern challenges. Although there aren't any par 5s on the golf course there are a few holes that stretch to over 400 yards, which guarantees that you'll be using all the clubs in your bag. There is plenty of water throughout the golf course, including three holes that play right along the river. It might not be what you're looking for if you want something truly formidable, but for a short course it's a good challenge that provides excellent iron practice. Besides the golf course, The Hooch is also known for its 12-acre, lighted driving range. There are also putting and chipping greens with a deep-faced practice bunker.

Great Executive Course
I have played here 3 times and have thoroughly enjoyed it each time. The course is in good condition, and considering the pace of play and layout, it is a great value. I choose to walk (push cart) for the exercise; it’s a very flat course. If you’re looking for a quick sub 3 hour round, there is no better place in metro Atlanta!
Enjoyable round
Thought it was going to be a long day but played off the back 9 first but it went quick even quicker on the front 9 .

Enjoyable
Course in good shape but greens need to be be taken care of by the participants they need to repair there marks on the greens ball marks need to be fixed after playing the hole.
Beautiful Weather
I enjoyed this round tremendously. The weather was nice and the course conditions very good. It was a nice outing.
Nice course for money.
Nice short course. Excellent for practice round before any tourney. No par 5. Many Par 3s.
Some greens damaged due to heavy rains, but still in good condition. Have a feeling it will be sold and residential dwelling will take place.
So enjoy it while you can. $20 for 18 holes is not a bad deal.

This is a nice executive course...not too difficult...great for working on your short game and perfect for walkers.

I have played this course many times and recommend this course. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The greens are always in great shape. The pace of play is always on time. The course was dry and in good shape overall. Thank you.
Hootch going down hill
It seems they don’t care much anymore about maintenance. Why don’t people fix their ball marks??!!!!

Fun Course
Fun course to play. Getting a bit run down. Greens are good even though a little slow. Fairway signage is terrible. It’s run down and some signs are broke off. Golf ball cleaners are dirty and low on water. Water stinks. Marshall’s are great.

More importantly, why doesn't the Hooch have someone fixing those ball marks?! This course draws very new players who likely don't even know how to fix a divot...the bent grass greens MUST be taken care of better than they do; it's amazing they look as good as they do.
