Ok, admittedly they need to grow some grass
I had a great time, pace of play was decent and people are nice. Not too busy. Golf course seems to be in it’s more starter years. Needs to grow some more grass in the fairways, maybe limit people from driving off the cart path for awhile. Ranger or starter might help fix that.

Not in the best shape
The course was about 50% red clay or mud. Really fun layout and has a lot of potential but bunkers were unplayable and there were a lot of really bad bare spots on the fairway. The greens were big and fast, making for some challenging approach shots and putts. Left the round covered in red mud. It wasn’t too busy but they paired me with 2 guys who had just started golfing. They were really nice and I enjoyed the company but their pace of play was pretty slow. The round took 5 hours. If they had just let me tee off in front of them I could’ve been done in 3-4 hours. Like I said, not a huge deal because they were great guys but I didn’t think it was necessary to join us together. All in all a great deal for the price but don’t expect great conditions

Great layout

First timer
First time playing Olde Liberty, and I was a single so the pace of play was not a problem.
Staff friendliness could use some work, the guy behind the counter didn’t make eye contact once as I checked in for my tee time. Pretty much said “you’re good” and off I went not knowing where the driving range even was (it was closed) or if the golf carts were key-in ready or not.
Course conditions were crap due to rain the evening before.
Tee boxes are hard as a rock...greens are fast as crap but learned as I went.
Overall, a very scenic course though. I’m 25 min away but would consider playing this course 1-2 times per month weather pending.

Same old, same old
Well, at least its consistent. Essentially the same as when i first played years ago - great layout with plenty of interesting holes/challenges, ROUGH fairways that will shake your fillings out, consistently good greens, and consistently horrible bunkers.

Enjoyable course
I enjoyed playing 18 holes at Olde Liberty. There are spots in the fairways where it was hard grass/clay dirt which made some shots difficult. The layout was really nice. Guy behind counter was rough around the edges. Need to get a decent clubhouse out there to make for a better experience. All in all a good day at the course.

Waste of time and money
Clay bunkers clay fairways
No starter or ranger to monitor pace quit after 11 holes which was 3 hours
No grill staff served a hot Pepsi from pro shop staff

The greens were great and the layout is fun to play
I think this course gets abad rap. When we played 11-6, the greens were fast and true. There are some bare spots in the rough, but the course layout more than makes up for that. Great deal for the money
