Conditions.
Course is in terrible condition and the carts suck. I could walk backwards faster

Olde Liberty
The course is a good course just not great. Has always had some bare hardpan areas. I hope they will be able to fix this issue over time. I really like the layout of the course. We will be back!!!!

Couple fairways need a lil help but overall great course. Very difficult greens if you not aware of approach shot.

Horrible experience (again)
I’ve played Olde Liberty just a few times over the years since they first opened and have never had a very good experience. This last round was no different and arguably even worse than I had experienced before. Course conditions were as bad as they have ever been (many bare spots / absence of grass, unplayable bunkers, etc) plus the course is sporting a million red ant hills, one of which my son accidentally stepped in. There are so many they are unavoidable. Beyond this I found the pro shop staff to be downright nasty to deal with.
It had been about two years since I last played Olde Liberty and I think I will at least double that time frame before I give them another try. They really need to improve on many levels.

Covid19 protocol
Yesterday I booked around thru golfnow which included a cart and was told that I could not get a single car. The course had plenty of golf carts available but a single cart cost additional. This is very inconsiderate especially since there were a vast number of carts available. Next time I consider a course to play this one will not be on my list. Very unprofessional staff at the golf shop.

Staff has personality of a wet napkin, and the course is in terrible condition. I don’t feel like they care about the course at all.

Not all that great
Sorry but I would bypass this course, fairway are like playing in a yard, tee's Too. Greens are the best feature though.
One person working on a Sunday......waited 10mins at the turn for 2 drinks. Not enough carts to get one if your early to your round and range balls were not good. Beware of the fire ant hills everywhere!
The course could be really good, layout is really nice.

Coming along nicely
Course is best shape it's ever been. I have been playing here since 2007. Greens never been better. "Most" fairways now have decent grass, one exception is 11, but they are strawing off the right hand side to make it a casual hazard. The new cart fleet is a big plus. Great layout with plenty of challenges... Tougher than most! :)

A Potential Gem
Course has a superb layout. Very interesting holes. Greens in good shaped. Putts rolled well. And the greens are very interesting! Big with different levels of undulation. Some fairways are challenged; parts of the rough are not in good enough shape yet. This golf course has potential to be great.

Old Cups
This used to be a nice course. The cups were about a week old and greens bumped left, right whatever way. The grass was mostly weeds and looks like they only cut once a week. What the heck FRED SMITH quit being a cheapskate and put some of those $$$ into the course. Also gets some carts so we don’t have to wait to play.

Nice course and friendly staff
My first time here and the round was enjoyable. Unfortunately the range was closed. Took me a couple of holes to reacquaint the swing again. The staff was helpful in describing the turn and in pointing out several hazards. I will definitely come back again.

Good Track
Hidden gem in Franklin County just north of Wake Forest. Great value. Rough is a little deep off the fairway so hit'em straight! :)

Cool layout- awful course
First off, there was no starter, the course was packed and people just went out as they wanted no one stuck to their tee times. Of course the majority of the culprits were 60 year old + men who thought they owned the place as they hit from the ladies tees, lets just say it was a slow day.
Anyways the course has a great layout could have been an awesome course but its in such horrible shape. There is no healthy grass anywhere on that course its more of a JV practice football field. Apparently there was a huge drought right when the course was built and it never bounced back.
The club house is literally just a doublewide trailer, do yourself a favor and pay $10 more to play anywhere else.

I like to play in this course

The Bermuda greens were a decent quality. The rest of the course is in rough shape. A great layout, and could be a really cool course. In need of better maintenance.
