Good Shape
Course was in nice shape. Tee Box Good, fairways good, greens fair to poor. Pace of play not good. 5 and 6 people playing a hole. There we 3 groups of 5 and 1 group of 6. This slowed Everything down.
Another great day of golf at Quaker Creek
I love this little course. A great value for the money.
Friendly staff
Huge fairways tiny greens typical country course payed full price but not disappointed
Good course to practice and putz around on.
They keep the course pretty well manicured. People as in the public need to do a better job repairing their ball marks. If everyone repairs their ball mark plus one other things will just be better for everyone. They did a very nice job sodding #4 back tee boxes. Friendly staff. One of my go to courses when practicing.
Can I get some water!!!
I would have to say this is probably one of the funnest courses I have played in a while and great for the value. Fairways are in great shape but the greens need some work, no one fixes their divots so there was a lot of ball marks every hole. One of the worst things was that there was not one water hole for the entire 18 holes. Playing 4 hours of golf in 90 degree weather is that much worse when you cant get a drink of water despite what they offer in the clubhouse. Overall great course with minor details needing addressed.
Great golf value
Arrived late but was accommodated. Great friendly staff and the course was in excellent condition and great weather today!
Nice find
I was very happy with my experience. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I played with my 7 year old son on Father’s Day. It was the exact kind of course we wanted. Beautiful setting with basic layout. The fairways do not have these giant slopes to them where your ball is at your knees, so we were able to go out and enjoy ourselves and the day.
One cautious thing, since it was our first time on this course, several of the tee boxes and greens are very close to each other so an errant approach (me hitting into the group ahead) or errant drive (the group ahead hitting a tree and the bounce missing us by a few feet). Be cautious
Overall a nice basic course at a beautiful setting.
We will be back
Great Value for Casual Golf
I rode 18 on a Friday afternoon in June. Temps were in upper 70s after raining all week so course was packed. Still got to tee off on time and despite being stuck behind about 63 foursomes the round took just under 4 hours.
Course was not in great condition but much better than I expected for the price. Only 2-3 fairways were in poor-fair shape, the rest were good or even great. Greens were fuzzy and slow but seemed consistent.
The front 9 is a little dull and repetitive but the back 9 spices is up a bit with some doglegs, water, and layup decisions.
My only 2 complaints are that the bunkers were all hard packed dirt instead of sand and that the greens had been painted so I went home with green all over my hands.
Not a course I’d want to play every weekend, but for $20-$25/round I’ll definitely go back whenever I’m in the area.
Pretty Nice Course
This was second time playing this course. I enjoyed playing it much better the second time. Nice layout, different looks.
Hidden gem
I don’t believe you’ll find a better overall value than this place, the price and conditions are unmatched around. It does have really small greens that are tough to hit and hold but still a great place overall.
Dan is the Man.
Thank you Dan for accommodating my early arrival due to my own stupidity not only did I shoot one of my best friends ever but I'm eager to go back and play again thanks again for the hospitality any fellow players I met. One suggestion for the fairways on number 18 build to rock drainage and that will Aid in the water being funneled into the lake to the left
Nice course
Very forgiving course that narrows to the greens. Nice layout and was extremely fun to play.
Decent course for the price
Course design is not too modern not too old. Fairways are mostly flat but few holes are very beautiful with plenty waterss. Greens are mostly small. For the price it is a decent course.
Great course, better value
This is a beautiful course in the countryside north of Mebane, North Carolina. Fairways are plush and gorgeous meandering through lovely woodlands. Really great conditions. Greens are very small and a little more care is needed, although I believe a hot summer and recent heavy rains affected them. They couldn't be mowed due to the rains and were very slow. However, that is my only mild complaint.
The value is out of this world. I was here on a visit from So. California, where a public course round is a steal at $45. The regular rate was $24 and seniors pay $19 during the week. Hold your breath, this includes the cart
Staff was very friendly throughout the course. Looking forward to my next visit
My Golf Balls Are Growing
Lots of fertilizer on the greens and the aeration made for difficult putting but overall a good experience. I will play here again.
